Whoa this place was a tad too weird for my liking.....actually weird isn't the word because I do appreciate the 'strange and unusual' of sorts. This place is very dirty, dusty, outdated and well not very well taken care of. I understand fully that it's an antique shop but the ones I've been too aren't this scattered and shattered. May I add that it's expensive as heck too. I didn't see anything under $10 and worth that except for some larger furniture and maybe some vinyl. Young girl working the counter didn't even greet us walking in or acknowledge our presence. Sad, just sad.....

The weird girl that works Sundays is rude I don't recommend this place! She told me to put something down and to not touch unless I was interested in buying..... pathetic.

This place is really more like a star and a half than a full 2, but I don't have that option. Why so few?*lots of stuff outside, exposed to the elements and getting ruined*Prices affixed to vintage clothing with STAPLES (Absolute No-NO!)*High prices*Lack of quality*random bras strapped to various stautues and whatnot-bizarre.I'll agree with the other reviewer that likes the offer of free hot tea, but the rest of the experience was not so soothing and homey.

This antique store is not your regular antique store. Its very eccentric. I like it! I've shopped here a few times and made small purchases here and there. I've been lucky enough to find a glass dish bottom for my mothers broken chicken dish and it was for a very reasonable price. Even lucked out and found a pink teacup and saucer for under $15 (which is a fabulous deal). Yes some items are pretty pricey but I just don't buy it and move on. Just like any other antique store. The owner has always been approachable, she seems strange but what would you expect from a store so oddly displayed. Whenever I'm antique shopping, I always enjoy looking around here.

I was disappointed coming here after reading Claire's review. Then I noticed it was written in 2005... silly of me to think such treasures would stick around, she must have come on a really lucky day. Way back when. All I saw was junk. And I scoured the place for over an hour. It really bothers me when people classify items as vintage and price them as such, when they are not even 10 years old/ not real leather/ made in China/ etc. And that was the majority of the crap I sifted through. I was appalled at the pricing for the obvious lack of quality items they had on the shelves. I give 2 stars because in the back, there is a treasure trove of super old jumpers and outfits from the 60's or 70's. Definitely not nice or quality enough to make into a cute current outfit, but a good stop if you are Halloween shopping.Oh, and my hubby liked the free mini pastries and coffee at the front.

Just left Peddlers Market, the worst experience ever. I made an offer on an old chair that need lots of work. They accepted the offer after the girl called the owner and asked for a price, owner told her to figure it out, so I made my offer she accepted. I paid cash, I didn't even want the cushions cause they were ruined. As I pull my truck up to pick up the owner told me no I couldn't have it and took it back. Refunded me my money and asked for the receipt back. I wasn't think to keep the receipt so I could report her to the better business bureau. Yet she has posted all sales final. I would never recommend this place to anyone. She was a total bitch about it. Never again, I'll stick with Goods Goods, way more friendly.

Look I know you'll never go here cause you weren't born and raised here and forced back by familial obligation. BUT, in the event that you have some bizarre 4th cousin living in Visalia and you are forced to attend a wedding or Thanksgiving, go to this store and all your wildest dreams will come true. I'm not lying. I'm so fucking dead serious your head would pop off. My sister and I discovered that this place has the best antique jewelry, clothes (I mean, vintage Gucci, in this town, seriously), jackets from the 40's,, purses from the 20's (and matching hats), leather gloves in every color. This place is a set designer's wet dream, a stylist's true wish, and my own special place (until now that is). This store specializes in vintage whatever at DIRT CHEAP prices, I'm not kidding. I've bought things here that women literally covet with tears in their eyes and when I tell them it was 11 dollars, well, then they just faint away. Here's to hoping you have to go to Visalia right? Wrong, it's all mine....

Not my favorite antique store around, mostly because of the bras hanging around kinda skeezes me out. But I thought I would stop by today seeing it was open again. Sign on the front door excluded me from entry.....will try again when I am free to walk in without covering my face.
