As a wedding photographer in SLO, I work with and oversee many officiants. I would recommend Paul to anyone. An officiant will obviously play a pivotal role in your wedding, presiding over the ceremony, contributing his/her own words and dictating the tempo. Therefore, it is sensible to pick someone who is well regarded and has experience. In chatting with Paul, he mentioned that he has officiated over 70 weddings this year ~ so clearly he is well trusted and practiced. Needless to say, I was impressed with Paul's demeanor and his prowess for managing such an important event; it's not easy but Paul makes it look that way.

Paul was fantastic to work with. Emailed promptly and added some wonderful things to a ceremony I'd pre-written. His advice was spot on. He took time to get to know us as much as possible, even though it was all via Email, as we live out of the area. He arrived promptly and handled everything like a true professional. Paul was Great! He communicated effectively and helped us plan our own ceremony. He gave us lots of options; He arrived on time and was dressed impeccably. We had our wedding at the Ragged Point Inn in Big Sur. From the very first time we contacted Paul, we were at ease with his expertise and gentle manner. This was a destination wedding and we wanted this to be perfect. He went over everything step by step during our initial interview via Face Time and communication with him leading up to the wedding went without a hitch. He was always thorough with his communication and he provided sample wedding vows and readings. In addition, he provided step-by-step instructions on obtaining our wedding license and filing process. The outcome was amazing. He was great on our wedding day, was sharply dressed, and he didn't miss a beat. He personalized the wedding ceremony to reflect our relationship and made certain that we were both comfortable and at ease during the actual ceremony. Even with last minute changes on the day of, he was awesome and was able to roll with the punches. We recommend Paul wholeheartedly and we are grateful that he was part of our special day.
