Visited my uncle and upon arriving wasn't able to enter parking lot. Unsure so street parking it is. Gate entry is locked & you can only enter if they buzz or let you in. The front office can view you from where they are. You must call from your mobile phone since the gate button doesn't work. Sign says call, they literally mean by phone. Walk in & it's bustling with people whom reside there & staff. Some residents whom don't even know me literally verbally said they want to go home. My uncle with many others were in a hall having lunch. My uncle hasn't seen me in years & although battling with some dementia. He always knows my voice & once I removed my eyeglass shades he lit up. He even said seeing me made his day. He says he awakes confused & discombobulated unsure of why he's there. The some staff were nice & even helpful when I was looking for my uncle room, before I was told he was in the lunch hall. I inquired what the constant beeping noise was going on from nurse station to nurse station & was informed by some residents it was an alarm & they were lined up outside their rooms and told they couldn't go in their rooms unsure why. Asked two staff members one said the noise is communicating with each station? The other staff member advised it's from when the button is pushed by the residents in their room. That noise consistently going off will make you want to leave. I mean for 2hrs I was there not a bit of peace. Smh I commend good nursing staff. Some spoke to my uncle, he likes the attention. He has always been a ham. Good to see him smiling. Although not sure if he will remember I was there. His memory sadly seems limited & comes & goes on what he remembers. I will say that more attention to some of the residents that can't feed themselves & rely on being fed by staff should get more focus. I watched a women bedbound can barely speak, and was needing to be fed & given her water. She continued to say water please repeatedly and when I turned her direction the nurse whom was sitting beside her was talking to another staff member doing the same for another resident. Please remember to treat the residents as if they were your family or a child. Not neglected or ignored. May need to hire more staff that are qualified & not to overwhelm those that are there. They look as if they can definitely use the help. Even residents try to help them & they're there to be cared for. You pay alot for these places. Pay alot for the day to day care as well for quality it should match. Glad my uncle is in a place where family can visit him more he's close to the majority so they can check in on him & make sure all is well more often than not.

This was the only facility that was offered to me for physical therapy by UCLA, so I said sure. Worst mistake I ever made. The place is old, the night staff has no clue what they're doing. One night I was there, whatever staff member that had beat up a patient. Constant bickering between night staff, which is family I think. I regret ever stepping foot there, it's a madhouse. I didn't even receive the proper therapy, it was all done in my room. Stay as far away as you can from here. The day shift are amazing, Dora and Candy are the best, this place doesn't deserve them.

Nurse Jaspreet, and Christian who I respect how they care for the patient. . And I love a few CNA working very hard like C.J. Balwinder, but some of them specially night shift workers are unreliable. Over all, I am very happy for their services.

Staff here are very efficient at what they do. Very polite, respectful, kind and caring. They have a soft touch when it comes to treating everyone. The Dr on the other hand Patel. Only showed his face once when his patient was initially sent to him. He promptly disappeared and hasn't been since since the last 10 days. It's like he left everything to the RN and CNAs. Doesn't seem like he cares. He's just there to collect his money. Hardeep RN has been exceptionally good. She's fast, efficient, very professional, upbeat and friendly. She's very attentive to her patients and willing to do what it takes and go the extra mile to make sure her patients are well taken care off and comfortable. She really does have a caring soft touch that puts her patients at ease. She works hard. Doesn't seem to loiter and socialize and La la gag or do things half assed. Much respect and hats off to her. She's done more for her patient than that useless dr. Patel. CNAs are the ones that keep this place going. They clean, prep and do what needs to be done. They're on it with sense of urgency and show complete willingness to assist when patient presses the red button to summon nurse and They're polite. Thank you for doing what you do. Food: Very good. Food has flavor! Menu is catered according to patient needs. Menu is diverse and never gets old. The place is antiquated but is well kept and is very very clean. It smells dingy with a slight musty dingy smell. The ceilings are low. Anyway it needs to be updated. Given having said that, they keep their population engaged with programs like bingo, cards, sitter size, movie n popcorn nights etc. The place has excellent physical Therapy and occupational therapy staff. Professional and very attentive. They're truly in it to win it. The guys really push patients into getting better. Same goes for Occupational Therapy staff. Dr Patel has zero care or concern for his patients. Fuck him. He needs to go before he's negligence causes something catastrophic. He has this I don't give a fuck attitude towards everyone. Like he's above everyone.

Tried calling on 3-14-20 at 11:15 AM to get an update on a family member and the front desk staff was very rude. There was much noise in the background and I asked if you can hear me. The woman responded very rudely saying: "I said I can hear you." I said it seems like you are annoyed by me and asked to speak with a supervisor. She said there is no supervisor in today and when I asked for the supervisors name and when they would be in, they hung up on me. I called back a few minutes later another woman answered and also didnt know who the supervisor is nor when they would be in as it varies day to day and neither would give their names.

I went here for my initial rehab after having a total hip replacement. It 15 hours to get a pain pill after being told that "I have had surgery to fix the problem and shouldn't be in pain". They also took my inhalers for my asthma. When I started having an asthma attach they brought me the wrong inhaler stating that was the one I gave them. (I have a reaction to the one they brought) It took two hours for them to bring the correct one. The regular staff was awesome but the 2 RN's were the problem. I even heard one other patient request something for pain and they were told they didn't need it. I am thankful that I had enough going on to be aware of the problems. I was given the wrong drugs and dosages that Dr. ordered and couldn't get it changed. I ended up going home after two days, per Dr's request, to get my rehab back on track. Its so sad that the system allows employees like this. I would not recomend
