I have stayed here many times in the past. It's always been a pretty gross place. I recently passed by this motel and noticed that the rooms in the back are now gated? With privacy mesh on them. The gate was open and I noticed a couple of yellow school busses. Of course this tickled my curiosity. So I googled it. I noticed someone posted pictures of himself with a group of other men. All Hispanic with lots of bags. Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of also seeing the group inside one of the rooms, happy and shirtless. Of course I looked away and instantly noticed a set of bunk beds off to the side of them. When did this hotel or any hotel start offering bunk beds?I also noticed that this young man likes to leave reviews and photos A LOT. Like one in Mexico where he says that is his "home". And one on Henderson in Porterville where you can catch a glimpse of his Modelo resting comfortably in the drink holder of his car while he and a buddy are joy riding. I am positive that I know what this hotel is doing for a certain agency but the real question is, does anyone else?

This place is sketchY AF. A lot of the units are boarded up, there's a homeless guy sleeping on a random church pew outside, the rooms do not look the way they do in pictures. The outside is a MESS. There's not mini fridge or microwave as advertised. I can't even list everything right now. AC works pretty good and the beds alright.the room is pretty large as well. Really the only reason we got a room there was because motel 6 has a check in time at 3pm and we needed somewhere by 11. I ended up paying significantly more than motel 6 for a place I think we might get killed at. With a ten dollar deposit and taxes I ended up paying 103 bucks. Saw the room and immediately regretted my decision. Alas, no refunds. Staying here tonight and quite frankly I'm scared lol.

Stopped through this hotel on the way to Sequoia. Staff is friendly and the room had a refrigerator, microwave, and wifi (but unreliable). However the room was pretty dirty, roachy and musty, and we had allergies. It seemed like sketchy things were happening outside. There might be other good purposes for this motel but it is not great for tired travelers.

Excellent place if your just looking for a comfy bed to crash on. Spacious room, fresh sheets, clean towels, TV, mini fridge to hold those late night snacks and drinks and AC to cool ya off during the hot summer nights. We even had a pleasant surprise when we turned off the lights.... someone had painted stars on the ceiling with glow in the dark paint! What a fun little bonus ...maybe owner doesn't know, best not to say anything just ask for room 21 ;) haha!If your looking for all the bells and whistles best to keep driving but honestly your missing a little hidden gem.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Price was quoted at 69.99/night on the phone. We showed up and asked to see the rooms first as this motel isn't a place where we would normally stay, but there wasn't availibility anywhere else. It was not well lit and depressing twinkle lights that half-heartedly twinkled now and again were sagging from the rain gutters. My heart sank as we walked to the lobby. Honestly, it looks like where you would go to score some low quality drugs. If that works for you-this is the hotel for you. Pool is empty and tennis court is overgrown with weeds. The rooms didn't disappoint; they were dirty with stained carpeting. Curtains were falling off the rods. The rooms smelled musty and sheets were threadbare. No mattress pads. The bathrooms were carpeted and had the dusky smell of old urine. AC was great, but the condensation was dripping into the rooms, which is probably why they smelled so musty. But the kicker was we were told it would 300/night. Yep. That's right. 300/night for this shithole and not the 69.99 we were quoted. We got the hell out of there. If you're interested in trying your hand at filming your own low budget porn, this place would probably be perfect for you. Other than that, it's complete trash.

I am a veteran world traveler who has been all over the third world and this is definitely among the most squalid shitholes I have ever been in and radically overpriced. Minus five stars. Anyone praising this dump beyond dumps is a blood relative, on the payroll, or in the investment group. King room with no microwave, fridge, shitty blurry tv with 10 channels and utterly disgusting and sub-par in every respect? No.

I called to enquirer about room rates. They wee pretty cheap, but when I asked about larger rooms the guy with a foreign accent got agitated and hung up on me.. Really??? I say no thanks to this establishment.

I wish I could give this place -29 stars, it was the absolute worst place I have Ever been in and I will NEVER recommend it to people, I actually recommend sleeping under a bridge before I recommend sleeping in this "inn." The owner was atrociously rude, charged us extra for one of the worst rooms they had because of our age (he thought we were going to trash the room when we Always make sure to leave it cleaner than when we found it) and the practice of putting down basically a security deposit of 35$+ or leaving my personal government issued ID at the front desk as collateral to call the cops or pay for damages in case you "trash the room" is absolutely dysfunctional! When we got to our room and he finally stopped hovering over us we noticed that there were mystery stains on the bedspread, extra-wide armchair (semen on the chair for sure, didn't touch it at all) floor, the walls and headboard, and the ceiling. Then we opened the fridge. There were cockroaches dead and alive in it, the bathroom window wouldn't shut all the way, the walls are moldy, the curtains were disgusting, the tv was coated with dust. At night we finally got to notice that the door frame had holes in it, and we could see light from outside coming into the room. That and the top lock doesn't always work. Normally the lock wouldn't bother me and the attitude could be ignored of the owner, but at night you notice that there are drug dealings and fights going on right outside your door and hookers being pimped as people shoot up drugs and drink alcohol, that's a Giant NO to safety. Also we found out that most of them were staying there and had rooms that were larger and definitely nicer than ours. So at that moment we found out that drug attics were allowed nicer rooms than us just because we were a little younger was just it. I can't stand that place, my fiancee can't stand that place, and our two friends that were with us at that time cannot stand that place. 65$ for the worst room probably in California, never ever go here. Also the pool is empty and has been for years, as well as their attached restaurant being shut down for many years also. You'll have a better experience sleeping under a bridge or in a park with wild animals than you will here. Better yet stay at the motel six across the street (it was too expensive the night we stayed at the Palm tree inn) but the inn makes motel six looks like a five star hotel. I hope someone condemns that place soon, so maybe someone worthy can come in and bring it back up to par with being the old Paul Bunyan with a nice pool and restaurant. The pictures lie and the pool hasn't had water in it since 2002.
