Paleteria Y Neveria La Nueva Michoacana

For years, this location housed Trader's Take & Bake Pizza. Alas, they are no longer here. In there place is this new ice cream joint called Paleteria Y Neveria La Nueva Michoacana. This ice cream spot has several locations in Bakersfield. We decided to drop in after having dinner at the Thai restaurant next door.It was near closing time, but the place was still clean. I decided to buy a couple of scoops of my favorite Hispanic ice cream flavors. The Nuez flavor and the Chongo flavor are my "go to" Hispanic flavors. For the first time, though, I was a bit disappointed. The flavors were not as yummy as I've had at their other locations. Maybe I was too full from dinner that I could not enjoy this treat? I doubt it because I always save room for dessert. The rest of the gang were fine with their choices. Maybe I was the only one not as happy. Still, despite my disappointment, I'd return to give them another try.

They have the most delicious ice cream called helado de queso. I saw it and thought the name was interesting so I had to try it and they even recommended it and and I agree I thought it was delicious , I agree it was so I got a scoop and it was chef kiss.
