How dare you guys charge $7.99 for toilet paper. Everything over priced and nothing looks good.

Too expensive.almost everything is expired and the owner is rude he won't give a crap if you are happy or not about the product Cause is the only market around we have to buy there !!!yeah right!people there is too arrogant never going to buy anything else there no more.

This place has the best Carne Asada I have tasted. It is located in the middle of Lake Los Angeles and is the one of two grocery stores in that area.The flank meat they sell is so tender you can cut it with your fingers, they have bbq made to order, let them know how you want your steak cut and they will please your every wish. They marinate it for you and this place is great for all your grocery buys. This market has a restaurant inside of the store that serves delicious tacos, burritos and daily specials. The salsas are wonderful. Typical selections of meat for your tacos, asada, carnitas, lengua, cabeza, al pastor, etc., my favorite is the "OSO Burrito", you will need to walk a couple of miles after that one. The owner is friendly and will remember your name if he meets you. I love the way it feels when you walk into a place and are greeted by name. One of the benefits of going to a family owned establishment. This place is great. If you are ever on the way to or from Vegas, Victorville or anywhere around that area, find the time to stop by into this little Lake Los Angeles Jewel.

If I have to purchase meat or milk in town, Oso is always my first choice. I can walk in and be satisfied with the price and the meat is always very good. I've never had any bad experiences with either as far as freshness. Milk is always fresh with at least 2 weeks before expiration and their gallons are cheaper than almost all of the local town stores. Their Carnitas and Carne Asada is really good. But, as with all small town stores, of course there are going to be some items higher than the bigger markets. Par for the course of rural living!

I bought a 2lb bag of potatoes from there yesterday. I went to use them tonight for dinner and when I opened them up and got half way into the bag I noticed a funky smell and the next several potatoes were nasty and black. This isn't the first time I bought something gross. Last time I bought a head of lettuce and cut it down the middle and it was gross. Stay away from that store. I will be returning their rotten potatoes tomorrow morning and getting back my $$

Heard they had a coin shortage, so I went to make a purchase with some quarters. She instead Of counting them like a normal person, she weighed them and Told me I was 7 dollars short. I said I will count them for you and she said she will only weigh them. Don't expect me to be going back to this place as the cashier Was rude. I understand if it is company policy and she can't do anything and can only weigh them, but why be rude? This isn't the first rude interaction with her but it will be the last.

I've been sick all day today , we went on a day camp yesterday and bought our meat and guacamole from here. Today my husband notice that the guacamole had been re labeled 3 times with different days !! How dare they. Because this is the only grocery store in town , makes me wonder what else they do with expired items. I will be going back to the store today and I do expect my money back, or else the health department needs to pay a visit. They should be taking care of their customers , not making them sick !!!! - update I went to the store to complain And ask for my money back for the guac and other items I bought . Since I didn't have the receipt for the guacamole she stated she couldn't return it And I had to come speak to the manager in the morning "like I don't have a life" she didn't even apologize or ask me if I was ok. They clearly don't care about your health. Please be careful with this place check your labels, smell the meat before you take it be careful with the produce . I'm all about supporting small businesses but not if they are taking advantage of their customers.

HORRIBLE! Very, very rude. I stood in line behind 4 people while the cashier lady talked to her husband on the phone. She spoke in spanish so i guess she assumed no one understood but i did. They say horrible things about their customers when they think they cant understand. The meat is rotting in the butchers stand and I mom bought miik there that was rotten. the manager would not give her her money back. he said that for all he knew she bought it somewhere else and was trying to rip him off. it wasnt even 3 min after she bought it!

dont shop here they sell expired items, plus everything is very expensive go to dollar general you can purchase at normal price not like here that is triple the price for the same item, they are greedy and take advantage of our poor community even the lady in the glasses tells everybody to shop in dollar general because its cheaper
