One Darling Day

One Darling Day was by far my first choice when we started planning our wedding. I had followed her account on Instagram for some time before we were engaged and I loved how original, eclectic and intimate all of Claudia's weddings looked. We booked her early-she was our first vendor booked-which was the best call as I loved having someone I could go to to help me verify vendors, suggest design options, and answer other random planning questions throughout my 1 1/2 year-long engagement. Most notably was how Claudia handled the extreme weather that caused us to have to change venues, 2 days before our wedding. She very nimbly helped me translate our existing layout and communicate our decisions and preferences to the venue. I'm so thankful that she orchestrated an outdoor ceremony, which was my goal, and designed the most beautiful interpretation of my dream in a completely new space. Finally, Claudia was kind and lighthearted throughout the entire process, but has exactly the type of direct forward, take-charge manner that is so needed when coordinating a wedding! Claudia-thank you for everything! I already miss working with you!

Claudia was really easygoing and made things very simple, something my husband and I wanted in a planner/coordinator. The day of she took the complete lead in everything and I NOT ONCE had to worry about a thing. All our guests, my husband, and I were able to be fully present and enjoy our day!

My husband and I are so thankful that Claudia was recommended to us as our wedding coordinator. She is super organized, a great communicator, has a great eye for design, and is on top of all the small details that go along with a big event. She and her assistant, Cynthia, made our wedding feel effortless and, most importantly, we got to enjoy the day.

We LOVED working with Claudia. It's pretty rare that you hire someone and walk away with a new friend, but that speaks to the quality of human Claudia is and the level of care that Claudia puts into her work. On top of that:1. She's a fantastic collaborator. My husband is a designer, and I'm in marketing, so we had many opinions ;). However, Claudia has incredible taste, and we found that she helped us make our ideas better and always thinks about practical ways of bringing them to life. 2. She goes above and beyond. It felt so good knowing that Claudia cared about the wedding being amazing just as much as we did, and ALL of her actions showed me this during the planning process. 3. She has excellent relationships with INCREDIBLE vendors -- there was not a single vendor Claudia recommended that I would not hire again (flowers, catering, hair/makeup, DJ, valet, security, etc.) They were professional; they all matched the vibe and energy of our wedding. 4. She's dialed and experienced. I was blown away by Claudia's ability to know exactly how to orchestrate the logistics of our day. It's the knowledge that comes from years of experience, and it was invaluable. Because of this, EVERYTHING (I mean every detail) went according to plan. I wholeheartedly recommend Claudia and would hire her again! Thank you, Claudia!

Let me guess... You're looking for a wedding planner and you don't know who to choose? You're looking for just a "Day of Coordinator" and nothing else? Well friends, rest assure I got you... Let me give you the skinny on why I think Claudia at One Darling Day is your gal for your wedding. Like a lot of couples who are about to get married, we were a bit stressed, overwhelmed, and overly lost about what to do or who to choose. A lot of my friends don't have the luxury of choosing their own coordinator cause their venue provides their own coordinator. (It's like getting a court-ordered attorney who is there but doesn't really want to be there)..... Would you rather pay for your own attorney/coordinator who has who has your best interest as opposed to one who there just because? (If you're hell bent on a venue and they provide their own coordinator, then I'm sorry you're shit out of luck... Haha) The best thing about choosing your own wedding coordinator is you're in the driver's seat. The ball is in your court. The worst thing I could imagine is getting stuck with a shitty coordinator cause it came with a venue. Yet, that happens to a lot of my friends and people you know who on the day of the wedding, the coordinator just disappears and is nowhere to be found. This is your wedding. You should be in control of all aspects and the coordinator is no exception! We originally had gone with another coordinator but in the end we ended up axeing the other coordinator cause I'm about trusting my instincts and my gut and it was telling me to go with Claudia. We are super glad we did...We had a few initial meetings with Claudia at a nearby coffee shop to go over details and wedding rehearsal/timeline. She took detailed notes and is responsive to e-mail correspondence. She heard our suggestions and offered her own ideas but in the end she was respectful of our vision and aided us which is key.... She coordinated with the vendors, the venue, ran the rehearsal, and offered suggestions on the rehearsal dinner as well. She was extremely hands on which is the type of person you want working for you when it comes to your wedding. My super hyper critical unimpressed and usually overbearing parents were extremely impressed with Claudia as well and had nothing but nice things to say about her as well. Word to the wise: Choose a coordinator you trust and will know that will have your back on the day of your wedding. Claudia is seasoned and well under pressure and takes your suggestions to heart. There was never a time where we thought she was doing a sloppy 1/2 ass job. She was there from the start of when the venue opened and was one of the last ones to leave the venue at the end of hte night. I always judge a person on what they do not what they say and in that regard Claudia delivered as promised! Big ups to Claudia and her team for making our wedding run smoothly...J to the Y x 2

We had a really great time working with Claudia. She's responsible, decisive, reliable and has excellent style and taste. We needed help getting and staying organised and mostly being able to enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about the details. Everything went so smoothly due to Claudia. I recommend her work highly!

My husband (yay!) and I booked Claudia for our day-of coordinator and we're so grateful for her help throughout our special day and the few weeks prior. She is a fantastic human and helped fill in gaps that we never even thought of! We had the best day and Claudia made sure that everything went smoothly to the point we were just floating on love and good times! Can't thank her enough for her help and expertise!

Claudia was absolutely incredible to work with and our wedding day would not have been the same without her expertise and guidance. She provided invaluable advice and recommendations for us during the planning stage, worked MAGIC with our venue space and rentals, and fostered and led a warm and collaborative environment for us and all of our vendors and guests. I'm still beaming from how wonderful the day/night was and Claudia is to thank! I had/have complete trust in her to make any couple's wedding dreams a reality. She is also the loveliest person and was a true JOY to work with. I can't say enough amazing things about Claudia, she really is the absolute best!
