Olives Mediterranean Café

We had my mother-in-laws birthday catered by Olives and it was delicious. We were hosting 15 people so we ordered the shish kabob order for 10 people, and they were able to accommodate the order to include food for 15. The staff I ordered with helped me figure out the best things to order around additional appetizers. They were Ben very accommodating with the pick up time which I had to change a day beforehand. The staff were super friendly when we went to pick up the food. The restaurant looked cute and clean on the inside. Everyone at party raved about the food. The meat was juicy and tender, the salad had a simple but tasty dressing,...even the rice was delicious. The babaganoush, on or my fav things to eat, was spectacular...couldn't get enough of it.

They only have one waitress serving the place but that didn't stop them from giving good service to a restaurant with all the tables occupied. The food was delicious and tasty except for the pita bread. The pita bread is awful, pale, tasteless and thin like a tortilla. The atmosphere is family-friendly, cozy and comfortable. I don't have to go to Bakersfield anymore to eat good Mediterranean food. Tienen una sola persona de mesera atendiendo el lugar pero eso no impidió el buen servicio que dio a un restaurante con todas las mesas ocupadas. La comida deliciosa y sabrosa excepto por el pan pita. El pan pita es malísimo, pale, sin sabor y delgado como si fuera una tortilla. El ambiente familiar, acogedor y amigable. Ya no tengo que ir a Bakersfield para comer buena comida mediterránea.

Wasn't what I expected! They done use basmati rice. Chicken gyro had more lettuce than chicken!

There aren't many greek/Mediterranean places in Lancaster, but upon discovering this gem, I have been more times than I can count.Healthy, reliable, and delicious food. Highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for some authentic wraps, bowls, plates, and apps.

What a find! We were in Lancaster for a business meeting and found Olives Mediterranean Cafe right in the main street. We arrived right when it it opened and were greeted warmly.Delicious and flavorful is the best way I can describe the dishes here. I love hummus and that is what I ordered to start. Plenty of pita bread followed that I enjoyed.I also ordered the Chicken Kabob and a Falafel which were both superb. I left feeling full and satisfied and happy at the thought that when in Lancaster, there is Olives Cafe!Enjoy your visit.

I love Olives! My mom has been talking about this place for so long and I'm glad I finally got to try it. Apparently, they cater to my mom's job all the time. She always talks about customer service and how great they are; I must agree! It was my first time and not usually a fan of Mediterranean food and the hosts helped me figure out what to order. I got the pork and my mom got the chicken kabob plate. The pieces of meat are so big and the rice is yummy! It seems like they have a good wine stock to pick from but ordered togo and couldn't try any. Next time! I recommend you stop by!

Service was great. Very friendly. Fresh food. Great babaganouch... the salad was more of a fresh slaw with a citrus vinagert, so not what we expected. we will be back.

Terrible service. The food was decent at best, but I found a hair in my meal. On top of that, the staff was not friendly or welcoming. I wouldn't even give 1 star if I could. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

We got a pizza and a salad. Chicken shawarma. Everything was amazing. The pizza was our favorite. Super soft, fresh and cheesy. Chicken was added after pizza was cooked and it kept it from drying out. It was perfect.

Best Mediterranean place in the AV! Chicken kabob plate is my favorite. Staff is always friendly!
