Good ol' country, down home breakfast cooking! No weak coffee here, good biscuit and zero-lump gravy. I ordered the ham & cheese omelet and it was cooked perfectly. This place reminds me of my grandmas in Denver, just good food. Don't forget to order some of the fresh salsa, makes your eggs sing opera!

Such a little gem in Oildale! The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. This is defiantly a locally owned business. Family owned and operated you can't get this kind of charming in a chain owned restaurant. The waitress are sassy and personable. The food is top notch ! Calling them affordable is an understatement. I had prime rib and eggs for $11.00. This family knows what they are doing and it shows. I have been here five times in the past two weeks and have not been disappointed by anything. This is an old school diner. If you are looking for trendy avocado toasty breakfasts this is not your kind of place. If you are looking for a meal that will get you they the day served by a waitress with a sassy smile and a joke or two you may just start calling this place home.

Had breakfast there on Sunday and I was very satisfied with the food. Delicious! And the prices were so affordable. Husband said we need to make sure we go there at least once a month. I would really like to try it for lunch too. Looks like some great stuff. One of my favorites now. It's a small place but the ambiance is pretty neat.

Ol West Cafe in Oildale for the BEST breakfast, burgers, and food in general, best service and prices! There's a lot of talk about some of these other spots having the best breakfast and are totally overrated!If you're hungry for a burger, our faves are the Oildale Burger or the Western Burger.This week, I tried the Salisbury Steak for the Tuesday special, and it came with that amazing Mexican Soup!The kid's and senior menu is a killer deal with the pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Our son requests the special whipped cream with it.

They have both apple juice and lemonade on the menu but didn't have either. The pancakes weren't even fully cooked. The biscuits are dryer than the dessert.

Best dinner food in Bakersfield. Everyone that works here is so friendly and nice. It's a place where everyone knows your name. The prices are sooo cheap. Proportions are big. I get the 2x4 breakfast.

Good food and good service. Very hometown style of service! Value for the meals provided was also great. I recommend visiting and sitting at the bar next to the cooking area. Good convo with cook and staff.

Terrible service, hard biscuits, coldGravy. My brother wanted to try it, he had heard good reviews. What a major disappointment.

This place is definitely a nice little gem. Ive went to weeks in a row now and food is great and the waitress i think Vanessa was her name was so nice and also so nice to my daughter. Will definitely be our new goto place!

Awesome family run business! Food is good with the most entertaining staff. Always a good time.
