First timer here, place was clean and customer service was very fast, friendly and helpful when it came to our questions.Food toook a bit not too long but thats ok because it was made fresh and Im good with that.Hubby and I got the chicken Gyros combo and we each got one of the punchthey have and were delicious. Mandarin cardamomwas good not too sweet citrusy but a lil hint of warmth from the cardamom and the strawberry dragonfruit was really flavorful. We got dessert too, we got the froyo with the chocolate shell and it was good, you can definitely taste the yogurt, kinda tasted like kemon flavor so the combo was ok for me but was a good refreshing yogurt. I also wanted some Baklava and it was good, not soggy nor too sticky or sweet, it was good.

I ordered for pickup in advance but ended up just eating there since we still had to wait another 10 minutes for our food after getting there at our pickup time. The place didn't look too busy, but it seems they get a lot of pickup orders. They had plenty of seats open and the place was clean. We ordered the beef/lamb gyro bowl and the pork belly gyro plate with a baklava on the side. Personally, I liked the flavor on the pork belly more than the beef/lamb. I feel like the beef/lamb could be better. The fries on the plate were nice and crispy and the sauces were good. The salad that came with the entrees tasted fresh, but the red wine vinaigrette was a bit much for me. The pita was a little too burnt, but the hummus helped. The baklava was pretty good too but I've had better. Overall, I'd come back if I was craving greek food.

Was craving an authentic gyro ... was pretty excited to find a place here in Visalia! Very clean inside and staff was very fast with service. Menu had some good options to try. Loved that there are multiple options for gyros. A gyro choice for everyone. Went with the lamb/beef gyro ... omg tasted just like the gyros we had on vacation to Greece. The fries make it even more tasty. The fries aren't overly cooked or limp either; just right. The meat was tender and fresh. You can catch a glimpse of the meat being cooked in the back if you look closely. Would love to come back and try other menu items also.

Nick the Greek has very filling gyros, bowls and plates. The lamb is flavorful. The portions are quite large but leftovers aren't in the cards. The food is better fresh. The fries are a bit stringy and do not reheat well. A good hearty meal if you're looking to try something other than a burger or pizza.

I do love me some Greek food, and Nick the Greek didn't disappoint. Yes, it's fast food, but it seemed more like just good food that was served fast. We went for a family lunch, so we sampled quite a bit of the menu. We had gyros, a gyro bowls, a gyro plate, Nick's Fries, and some Loukomades for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. As far as fast food goes, Nick the Greek is pretty great.

Nick The Greek is within walking distance in our neighborhood so we frequent this establishment. It never fails to make our experience a pleasant one. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the yogurt with all the toppings for dessert. Have to give a shoutout to Chloe who helped us at the register, and a shoutout to the fabulous cook! Chloe is a sweetheart and answered all of our questions and served with a smile! Thanks Chloe. See you soon, again. Thanks for letting me photograph you!

We ordered Nick the Greek to go through the website and it was ready to pick up when we arrived 10 minutes later. Super efficient.Soft drink choices are Pepsi-brand. Just a few options. Food is okay -- we got a gyro bowl and a wrap and fries. It was all pretty greasy. I think this is a good choice if you're looking for fast food, but it's not the best Mediterranean option in Visalia.

Didn't order anything. Why? No takeout menus available....plus $12.50 for ...a burger?...a wrap? You're joking, right? For SELF-SERVICE FAST FOOD...when there's an inflation still going on?? As if that wern't enough, a classless container stands on the counter labelled "Know what "pita" is spelled backwards?" All that takes nerve. So no thanks, we'll make it at home! :-P

Great, fresh food in generous portions at a reasonable price for Greek. Menu meats are limited to souvlaki and gyro, but they're enough for the Mediterranean food "fix" I need on a regular basis.Counter order and pickup with self-serve beverages in a clean, casual environment.I'd love to see them expand their menu, including dolma and kebabs. In particular, I'd prefer pilaf to basmati rice. But don't hesitate to to go - it's a great option I'm very glad to have in Visalia after having previously loved the Fresno location.

Wife Absolutely LOVES this place! I'm just "good" with it. By service standards they're very nice and welcoming! The GM is a really great guy who handles his crew very well and ensures an equally amazing product is leaving the store. Kind of small inside, so will definitely get packed during the lunch rush, Luckily they have mobile order and delivery through DoorDash! Ambiance is peaceful, very beautiful inside. We got a chicken gyro, beef/lamb gyro, greek fries, pita and hummus, Baklava, and some froyo. Everything came out to around $58 dollars with tip. A little expensive for my taste, but.. the taste and flavors Nick The Greek offered, was worth the price and then some! Hands down in my opinion the "Baklava" was the best thing on the menu! Small for 3 bucks but again, somehow the flavor is absolutely worth every penny! Chicken Gyro was Fantastic! The chicken was nice and tender, the fries and added veggies mixed with the sauce inside really complemented the Gyro really well! Add some spicy yogurt to the top and it's absolutely heaven! Beef/Lamb Gyro was "ok". If you're a fan of Lamb, then you're going to love this! In my opinion it was a little "gamy" for me, but I'm not one for anything other than beef and chicken. The spicy yogurt added some extra deliciousness to it, but still couldn't get over the flavor of the lamb. Unfortunately not for me, but hopefully it will be for you! The fries inside the Gyros add an extra flavor and texture element that is very welcoming and surprising! Might steer you away from getting fries on the side, but get some anyway! You can either add them to your Gyro, or enjoy them as a welcoming side. Especially if you get the Greek style! The added Feta elevates the fries to an 11! Pro Tip: ask for extra Feta in EVERYTHING! ESPECIALLY THE GREEK FRIES! Pita and Hummus were a nice side to have also. The pita had a nice texture, soft yet a nice bite, very good flavor, especially when you dip them in the Hummus. Hummus was good, nice bite from the paprika on top, questionable if it's made from scratch or store bought, cause it tastes that good! Now for the best part! The Baklava! Flaky, sweet, crunchy yet soft and delicate. The honey really makes this thing! I've never had a dessert like this before; it's beautiful! Froyo was "ok" but just be prepared for this to not taste like ordinary froyo. Because of the Greek yogurt, it's very tart. But still very good none the less! Pair it with the Baklava and I think you're gonna be in for something very special! Overall when I saw the price, I was hesitant. $58 for a combo with Greek fries, single Gyro, two desserts and a drink on the side, kind of pricey! But when I got the text from my wife to, "Hurry Up! Amazing! Will be back here for sure!" I dropped what I was doing to see if the hype was real. It in fact is! Worth the price and then some! If you're a fan of Greek Food, don't miss this place! If you're a fan of trying something new, don't miss this place! Just do yourselves a favor and come down to Nick The Greek. Like the quote says "All Greek food is Mediterranean Food, but not all Mediterranean Food is Greek." Nick The Greek makes that quote so very true! Nothing compares to what's coming out of this location! Delicious!
