This place needs an update, seeing that the last review is from 2017 and all! .... So my family and I just moved in down the street and this place just happens to be the closest store of any kind that's in walking distance, so we decided to come and check it out.The store is filled with a variety of things! Pretty impressive actually!Kind of reminds me of a 99cent store mixed with a T-shirt shop, they have clothes, shoes, jewelry, belts, tools, shelf food, refrigerated items, snacks, cleaning supplies, hair, body and nail care supplies, tobacco and accessories, big living room sized rugs, pots and pans, etc...There's no way to name it all, but they have a lot! And is actually perfect for those 'quick runs' when you just need something immediately! The guy behind the counter was like an old time friend that we hadn't seen in forever! Just super friendly and happy to see us ! Lol Made us feel very welcomed! Shop is clean.Prices are low and vary.Husband got a nice thick hoodie, and a pair of Van shoes look-a-likes for work for like 40$!They even have ice! Haha. So glad we liked it because we'll be coming often!

I don't quite know how to review New Dollar World Plus, as I'm not sure what category it fits into. It's certainly not a traditional "dollar store" in that the majority of their products cost more than a dollar. Often much more. They carry a lot of items that a convenience store would carry, and that is the closest in feel I can get to guessing what kind of store this is. They carry some food items and have a large refrigerated case with sodas (cans or bottles), juices, Sobe and Snapple drinks. But then again there is an entire aisle of t-shirts, shorts, and belts that just doesn't fit that picture, either. There are a lot of hair care products, cosmetics, and an array of nail care products, too, including a whole display of nail polish at $1.49 each as well as supplies to maintain acrylic nails. There was an aisle full of kitchenware, paper plates, pans, even real metal spoons and forks (loose) 3 for 99 cents. There were tools, cleansers, toys, office supplies, even a number of different brands of dog food including Gravy Train cans on sale for 99 cents.Want a digital tv converter box ($49.99) or a dvd player? You can find them here!In addition, there were several display cases full of... um... I'm not sure what the proper term is... glass pipes? bongs? paraphernalia? I'm not quite sure what it all was, but they certainly carried quite a variety of them. One large glass apparatus was prominently displayed on top of the display cases attached to a black gas mask. I'm sure they're probably used to smoke... tobacco, or other... um... herbs? Possibly people with their own (completely valid) medical marijuana license... Yes, that must be it... So, if that's you're bag you should come check it out. There's another glass display case full of different types of fancy lighters. For those who like to... light things on fire. My guess is that this is a pretty rough neighborhood. Mom and I stopped at the Foster's Donuts next door and were curious enough to walk over here to check it out. We're both suckers for dollar store shopping. There was a man standing inside who appeared to be a security guard, and the Susie's Deals store in the same strip had a large imposing security guard, too! There were metal cage style security enclosures that could be pulled across the storefront when the business was closed. That's usually not a good sign.Regardless, mom and I felt safe and the cashier was very personable (we both liked him) and even the other customers, were all very friendly. We bought two sets of markers for about $1.50 each. Unfortunately, some of them worked but most of them were dried up. Not much of a bargain at any price. :(

Discrimination happens here a whole lot. Though a lady who worked there was very nice, it's the guys of all ages. Didn't think so until it happened to me. Some candy was out in an lane and I knocked it down and they call out I'm stealing and I wanted to stay for the cops so I could call it out and watch the tapes, but my family just wanted to leave.
