After pilates class I wanted to get some breakfast and Nekter caught my eye. It seemed like the kind of place that would have smoothie bowls so I figured I'd check it out. The space is very clean and had a chill vibe. I noticed that the tables had games on them so it seemed like a place you could hang out. The staff was busy with stocking their drink fridge but they did greet me when I first came in. I love pretty food and I knew I wanted the dragonfruit bowl because it's pink. I ordered and they offered various payment options. I was able to use Apple Pay so that was convenient. The staff let me know they have an app and they explained how I could start getting points if I added the code from the receipt. I wasn't asked if I wanted the bowl for dine in or takeout but I noticed they had marked it down as a take out order. When the bowl was ready they asked me if I needed a bag. I was a little confused because it seemed like staying at the shop wasn't an option. I was planning to eat it at the shop since I didn't want to risk having it melt on the way home. The assumption that I wouldn't be staying kind of threw me off. I declined the bag and hurried out and rushed home so I could get back before it melted. To be honest their chairs are not comfortable so maybe it's for the best that I didn't stay. Once home I was very happy with the bowl. The fresh strawberries, pineapple, and bananas tasted great. I mixed in the granola and coconut flakes and everything else and it all turned the prettiest pink. I'll definitely be adding this to my post pilates routine.

Fresh, healthy, and friendly...summarizes my experience at the new Nekter Juice Bar located off of Coffee Road (by Bank of America) near Von's at Riverlakes in the Northwest. I ordered a Pink Flamingo superfood smoothie. It is dragonfruit, strawberry, pineapple, coconut water and agave nectar blended into a refreshing healthy smoothie. Also bought a Vitamin D and Zinc shot. The service is friendly and accommodating. Juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, and healthy shots are on the menu. They also have cleanse juices. Will definitely be back.
