Nanlangka Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar

Went there for dinner to celebrate a bday party. The food is really favorable so delicious. The service was great except for the water refill, I had to ask three times before I got the waitress attention. Great food overall.

I stopped by here yesterday to order a couple of rolls to go. I got there when they opened and was the first one in the door. The service was wonderful and the hostess/waitress that took my order was very sweet. I was surprised that it took over 30 minutes for my to go order to be completed. The two rolls I ordered (the Volcano and the Kamikaze roll ) were good, but definitely not as good as I was expecting. It was probably just me, but I eat sushi all the time and I was a little disappointed. I will have to go back and try them one more time and make sure it wasn't just bad choices, but there was little to no flavor, in what I feel should have been a flavor bomb.I will say that the restaurant is gorgeous. I love the waterfall outside as you are walking in. And the outdoor patio is beautiful too.

Always a favorite when visiting Porterville. Fast and friendly service. Food is always on point. I had the Sunset Roll & the Tiger Roll. Delicious every time. Fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. (You always eat with your eyes first). Generous portion of the teriyaki beef plate.

Stopped here for dinner after visiting the Sequoia National Forest. Service was attentive and friendly. The place was really clean. I liked the inviting ambiance. Lighting is great and it had a quiet atmosphere that made conversation easy. Food was delicious. I didn't try any sushi but maybe next time! I got the garlic chicken with tempura fried vegetables. I also ordered the chicken spring rolls which were a wonderful light appetizer.

This place is great. Food is good. Restaurant has a nice vibe. Staff is friendly. If you want to go with a group of people and enjoy a good meal, this is a good spot.

PHENOMENAL SERVICE, AMBIANCE AND FOOD!! Best all around, I promise you, you won't regret coming here. We normally celebrate birthdays here. I love to take my friends and family if I want to impress them. When my husband ask where I would like to eat, I always choose Nanlangka. Freshest food and delicious vegetables. There is also a restaurant side. The first time my husband dined here he said "This restaurant belongs in a big city like LA!" Outside the building is beautiful and inside it is elegant to me. All staff is very friendly and helpful always.

Went for dinner and while we were waiting for our drinks to come out, we noticed cockroaches on our table, I guess they were waiting tor dinner to come out too! Never going back.

Our first visit, celebrating a birthday. Food was good. Service was bad. Waitress who took our food order was rude, waitress who took our drink order was nice. Our food was delivered in parts. My husband got served his noodles but was served his chicken entree at the end after the rest of us got our meals. Not once did they return to our table for refills or check if anything else was needed, impossible to get their attention. My son had ordered a saki flight that they never brought to the table but it was on the bill. My son and I ordered our food at a 4 spice level, food had no spice. I understand things like this happen when they're busy but it was wasn't. For them to not once check in for refills etc, then charge 18% gratuity is ridiculous. Again food was good but management definitely needs to work on their staff. Very disappointing.

The food here is consistently good and it's so hard to find a good Philly Roll these days, but Nanlangka does a good one. They give you a decent amount of salmon and I like that they don't use smoked salmon like a lot of restaurants do. I took away one star for not having any delivery options.

Love this place--everything is good: the sushi, teppanyaki, atmosphere. Sushi is so fresh!
