Myungrang Hotdog

I almost gave this place a bad rating because I didn't realize I ordered 1/2 mozzarella 1/2 beef hot dog. I wondered why the hot dog didn't start until I was 1/2 way through finishing it lol. Good thing I double checked the menu (it was the #12). The outside was a nice soft crunch and the cheese pull is a 10/10 on its own. Great as a small snack after running errands all day. Plus, the owners are so sweet and adorable.

So I'd like to preface this review by saying we eat pretty healthy on the regular. Went in with my husband about 3 weeks ago and we ordered their most popular menu item. Half hot dog half cheese with potatoes and sugar on the outside. It was good. Reminds me of the kind of food you'd love after a night of drinking. Not somewhere I could see myself going back to but I definitely see the appeal since hotdogs in this fashion are a fun food. Just not something that lines up with my diet. Service was great and the place was clean and tidy.

I decided to go to Myungrang Hotdogs after shopping at Sam's Club. The first time I went, when it first opened, it wasn't my favorite. However, today changed my mind. I did not know that they had tteokbokki. I decided to try their rosé cream tteokbokki and sweet potato with sausage corn dog. I got it to-go and drove to Marie Kerr Park and enjoyed my meal while listening to my audiobook. The corn dog was insane! Wonderful crunch, the dough was soft inside. It was sweet and savory! I added cheese to my tteokbokki and I realized that is a must! The cheese pull was epic. I could drink that sauce through a straw. It was creamy, spicy, salty and all the textures and flavors going on was a food lovers dream!! Inside was very clean, the menu had a good variety and the customer service was perfection. Everything was made quickly and piping hot. I couldn't be happier today. I can't wait to go back and try more.

A quite honestly surprising branch of a well-known Korean hot dog chain out in Palmdale. I came in at 12:30 on a workday for a quick bite, and there was no line. It's counter service, and the person that helped me was pleasant. The food came out after about 5-10 mins hot and crispy. Seats are comfy enough and there are a bunch of checkered counters for eating in. I got a squid ink mozzarella sausage with sugar on top. They cut the bottom into pieces to make the whole thing look kind of like a squid, which was cute. It was hot and plenty crispy, pleasantly fishy with squid ink and sweetened with the sugar. I tried the cheddar and cheddar mustard sauces, which were also slightly sweet, but ended up being too artificial-tasting for me. I also think it could've spent a minute or two longer in the fryer; the hot dog portion was juicy and steaming but the cheese was just barely melted. Overall a fine place for a quick and unconventional bite, on par with other Korean hot dog places I've been to. Strongly suggest getting your hot dog with sugar for the authentic experience.

This is my 2nd time coming and I was greatly satisfied yet again. This time I tried their rice cake dish. It was my first time trying it from anywhere. I'll definitely be getting it again! Definitely add the cheese if for get it! Price wise, it was a little expensive, but the quality of the food was worth it!

Food was of good quality, and was tasty. Service left something to be desired. Tried the Cheddar, mozzarella hotdog, the hot Cheetos mozzarella and the potato mozzarella dog. They were all good. Kids absolutely loved them. We did omit the sugar on all dogs.

Wow! What a treat and what a surprise!!! I didn't know what to expect, but I'm sure glad I went and will be coming back again soon. Those hotdogs (corn dogs) were yummy!!!

I had the number 5 and hubby had the 14. Neither of us had sugar because that just didn't sound right. Mine was pretty flavorless but he loved his. I tasted his and his had more flavor for sure. Very interesting place though and super friendly staff.

Really great place for lunch - lots of food and reasonably priced. Clean place and friendly service. Got to try a lot of different things like the tteokbokki (both spicy and rose flavors) the rose flavor was my first time trying it and it was yummy. Also tried the squid ink if you are daring, it was delish. The dessert fish cakes were good too.

Didn't expect to like a corn dog so much, but I saw someone praise this place on social media and I happened to be in the area. I got the Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Had low expectations of that variety, but that was the one getting the raves I saw, so I tried it. Twice. Really good. I got it half cheese, half hot dog. I noticed on my second one that it seemed more 1/3 cheese, 1/3 hot dog, 1/3 corn dog coating. Tasty, nevertheless. Would go often if I lived here. This seems to be a popular place with the locals. I saw that people had ordered online and we're coming in to pick up their orders and chatting with the counter help, obviously familiar with them. I mentioned to the receptionist at my hotel that I went there and she knew it well and had only good things to say about it.
