MX Massage

I wanted 60 min massage but she didn't even do my back so I said I'll pay extra for 30 mins more then they said it's mandated to pay $20 tip! I was never mandated to pay tip! don't come here ! it's not worth it! i have to tell her to do her job! ooh not ever coming back!

Well now I know why this play isn't that busy. When the boss is gone the employees demand tips. I had a 1 hour massage and paid with debit card my last $50 due to severe neck issues I had to come in.After I paid I handed the lady $5 for a tip in cash,it was all I had. She said 1 hour massage is a $10 tip! First of all her massage isn't as good as Amy who is the owner I believe. For someone to demand a tip for subpar service is so un professional. So I went to write a yelp review and noticed the one from above from a month or two ago so I'm gonna leave that one there. Today I went in for a massage the lady cannot communicate with me because she's limited on her English and I was asking for a massage she said that she has an appointment and it's been 15 minutes and there's still no appointment here. I could have just said I was the appointment. There's literally only one woman here which could be a safety issue as well. I'm told to Come back in an hour well I don't have time to come back in an hour so they're losing business this way but I guess not because there's only one employee.This lady is the one by the way who said I should give $10 last time. Not coming back

I literally left with a deep bruise that the masseuse caused during my massage, the whole time on the table was miserable and I ended my session early. The first time in probably over 5 years of bi monthly massages at another establishment, never will I return to this place again. This is another location that cannot communicate to its customers. Not a good or reliable location to receive any kind of therapy.

I'm updating my review two years later. I've been coming here very consistently for over two years now (and referring family members here) and today was sadly the last straw for me. It used to be great here but over the last six or so months the woman who runs it has become increasingly rude. She went from greeting me at the door and giving a water bottle and candy at the end every time to beginning to be rude or dismissive on the phone (which I didn't care because I always end up having Karina massage me and she is sweet and amazing) and now she's just come so far from how she used to be. The last four times I've come here I've had my time shortened midway through (ex. from 30 to 10 because they have walk ins who want longer massages). She is also extremely rude to Karina, barking orders at her with little to no respect. Today I called ahead like I always do and arrived 15 minutes later as discussed on the phone. The boss abrasively told me I was too late and they were too busy now (one walk in for a long massage was there) so it it would be ten minutes and then I'd need to go. I could have gone anywhere but I called and drove there and not only was it not honored (again) but it's shocking to me that she continues to make it clear they don't value me as a customer because I am consistent and I tip very very good. I'll miss you Karina but I have to find a place being run with a bit more respect and kindness!

I have gone here many times and it's hit or miss. The last time I went to get a foot massage, she was requiring me to pay for the foot massage and tip up front. I told her that I was not going to pay for an hour massage up front especially the tip as well. I told her that I would pay half up front and half at the end and then the tip at the end and she kept saying I had to pay everything up front. Like I said, I've gotten many foot massages there and never had this issue. It seems like they are SCAMMING customers and having them pay up front and then giving them a short massage. I won't be going there any longer

It was ok.... I've had much better for less $. I'm use to much better, massages in San Diego.

MX Massage is in the River Run Plaza on the NW corner of Coffee Road and Olive drive. The location is good if you live in Riverlakes or the northwest. They offer a very good therapeutic professional massage. I highly recommend it.

These ladies do a great massage and while I hate for them to get super busy I have been back 4 times and have never been disappointed. Clean and friendly with great deep tissue and pressure!

Pretty weird, I've had many massages in my life time these people clearly don't know what they are doing. Seemed really weird to me. I think this isn't a legitimate business. I feel like I should report it.

My fiancé and I went tonight and had a couples massage... the massage itself was okay BUT the two masseuses talked to each other the entire time and my lady left the room THREE times in one hour!! Did she make up for the time and keep massaging longer? Ha! Yeah right! Then she complained about her tip. Excuse me lady... we don't HAVE to tip you! And especially if we couldn't even enjoy it with them talking the whole time. We won't be going back. Terrible service. Definitely not $50 worth.
