Mud Hut 2 Go

Wow !!!!! So much fun ! The kids had a blast and so did I!!! Very relaxing ....my kids sat there and got really into it, there was something for everyone , the owner was amazing , friendly and passionate about her studio , the place was spotless, clean and organized which as a mom I appreciate. Loved loved loved LOVED it, we will be back for more ! I'm excited about doing our Xmas ornaments from here this year . Great place

Oh how we missed this place. When my kids were small we did all their birthday parties at the Original Mud Hut. Awesome place that our town really needs. Finally something fun. Open Most Saturdays and Sundays for walk ins. Mondays is homeschool paint nights and Tuesdays are walk in and to go order pick up. Excited for this new business.

A perfect activity for kids and also for adults in Tehachapi! We had such a fun time taking our children here and letting them pick out what they wanted to paint, and they got to use a variety of materials and be creative, and had a really fun time making their own special painted ceramic creation. We're excited to pick up our pieces once they are all fired up and shiny in a week or so. I love that this studio doesn't charge an expensive additional studio fee like other places, it just charges per piece painted.And I love that several of the pieces were affordable. For example, there was a whole bunch of choices for less than $10. I really appreciated that, especially in this day of inflation and limited expendable income! The owner is friendly and we enjoyed conversing with her, she's also very good with children. She let me know that they also have hosted baby showers and birthdays and girls nights, which is good to keep in mind for the future. I could see adults just coming here to paint therapeutically and chat. It had a very calm atmosphere. We are looking forward to coming back here again, there's not a lot of resources or activities for kids in Tehachapi, so I hope more people find out about this hidden gem! Oh and check their Facebook for their hours or call beforehand, they are usually open 2-3 days a week.

This is such an amazing paint your own pottery location. The owner, Yvonne has a great selection of pottery to choose from and her prices are extremely reasonable. My kids loved being able to pick out and paint something of their own. I can't wait until she gets all of her Christmas stuff in!
