Mr Wheel & Tires

Man, I was heading to Calkin flats campground in Kernville and half way there, I ran over something and I got a flat. I was on the freeway, pretty dangerous but decided to get the spare tire on there. Every time I looked up and saw a car or truck coming, I'd run to the side. Once I got the spare on there, I headed to Bakersfield and started yelping. Found this high review tire shop and they got me a brand new tire within 10 minutes! I LOVE these Hispanic owned tire shops as they are no nonsense businesses. They are straight forward with pricing and get shit done so quickly. It's unbelievable. $90 out the door. Done deal and I was back on the road to my camping destination. Love these guys. I tipped the guy who took care of my van's tire. Good guy. Told me he lived in South central at one time but now living in Bakersfield. He's a great guy, professional and funny as hell. 5 stars for sure!!Please tip them if you're able to when they get you taken care of. It will mean so much to them even if it's a dollar or two. They work so hard in the crazy heat and can use some help..Only if you can. That's all I'm saying.. Kindness goes a long ways. Never know when you might need the help as well. God works in amazing ways;)

Services were not only great but they were pretty quick about it. Gotten 2 types of services here and both times was amazing. Got my wheels repaired here, then once it was done being power coated I brought it back to get some tires and then putting it on. They didn't leave a single scratch mounting my tires. Thanks again fellas!

Great deal, Victor hooked up my son with an awesome set of rims and tires. In and out really quick and it looked as if the staff was busting their asses to get work done. Thanks again Victor!

This is one of those reviews that a customer absolutely MUST GIVE. First I'm very satisfied with their customer service. I went in just needing a brake service. The tall friendly guy behind the counter went outside to take a look at my vehicle. He then was honest with me suggested I needed brakes,rotors and calipers. Since they hadn't been done for a while. Also was looking for tire so I asked if he can give me a quote on some tires for my vehicle. The price was right so I told the guy to go ahead and add them on. The service was so professional that it gave me the much needed PEACE OF MIND All in all I give this place a 10/10. Good Prices, Good customer service, Fast Service

Like coming here but they make a lot of $$$$ to be without an AC or a cooling fan for customers waiting area it felt like a oven

This place used to be on Planz Road and recently relocated to Golden State - and WOW! What a difference! A few years ago I purchased tires when they were located at the other site, and I recently called them and they mentioned they had moved to Golden State (they no longer do business on Planz). I went into their new shop for new tires and wheels was blown away with the customer service. The staff really knows their stuff! I went in not knowing exactly what kind of wheels would go with my car and the owner and one of his staff members were both so patient in helping me pick the right ones. They have a huge showroom, have amazing pricing, AND the service was quick! I will definitely be back and have already referred my family.

Ordered tires of good year website! And got dleivered here in 1 day. Great service! . I went back the next day for an alignment . & they told me it would be an hour wait but ended up being longer & the guy (forgot his name) hooked us up!!!Its hard to find trustworthy people. So glad we came here

it was real hard for me to give my money to other shops where I live in tehachipi for wheels and tires it was like I was doing them a favor coming into their store I won't tolerate that down to bakovictor from Mr wheel and tire in bako to the rescue I love service and victor served me very well no pressure the tires he sold me along with wheels for my genesis coupe are perfect this company even installed a complete set of brakes with all new parts and hardware that I provided at a very fair price like I told my wife in front of victor we now have a new tire store I highly recommend victor and crew at Mr wheel and tire in Bako

A real tire store. Anybody else would have tried to sell me an alignment when I had my tires installed. They showed me scratches on my wheels before they started. I had taken pics before they started. Yep, they were right. Can I just say fuck yeah. I wouldn't go anywhere else in bakersfield. Victor was great amd so we're all the guys running around in this miserable heat. Give the 5.5 stars.
