Mr Tomato

I've came to mr. Tomato for years, it was always either a hit or miss whenever I would go, but I went yesterday and the food is like outstanding now! All of our food was so good! I got a turkey croissant (they gave me ham) no worries though. It was really good and the zucchini fries were very good and seasoned well and not all soggy like I have gotten in the past.I will definitely start coming here more to eat!

Super Satisfied. Ordered Lunch for 2, a Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, a Bacon Cheeseburger & Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich Combo with an Orange Crush Soda. Also as an incentive for spending over $25 dollars, Mr. Tomato gave me 2 Celsius Prickly Pear & Lime Sparkling Sodas. Breakfast Burrito was excellent. Cheeseburger was very tasty. Philly Cheesesteak was really good. French Fries were crispy & delicious. The Orange Crush Soda was refreshing. & just had a Celsius, also nice & refreshing. Service was great. Quick, courteous & positive attitude. Very pleasant, clean & welcoming interior. Lots of seating. The Ladies are always so friendly & cool too. Thank you Mr. Tomato.

My son and I were passing through California City and stopped in at Mr. Tomato for lunch. We both had excellent steak & egg burritos with homemade salsa. Superb and very delicious. Friendly service, clean and well run restaurant. Highly recommended! We will be back!

Very impressed with the quality of the food and the prices, the service was outstanding, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was very pleasant and enjoyable! 10/10 recommend the mushroom swiss burger!!

I have been a customer here for a while. I have an allergy to avocado, but my co-worker did not know. I called them to ask if they would replace the sandwich. I was prepared to accept a no because it was my fault that I did not make sure to say something about my allergy to my co-worker. Then I finally spoke to the lady (the manager) that took the order and she was yelling in my ear and extremely rude for no reason. I was fine with a no, but she was very rude about it.

Ok to the nice lady at Napa sent me here cuz I asked "where's a great cheeseburger?" Also, "Mr Tomato" is a cool af name for a place. It's also a down-home mom n pop Mexican place. Don't sleep on this, Mexican places make THE BEST burgers. Such is the case here. My cheeseburger from Mr Tomato was DELICIOUS. So good. The raw onion and spicy ketchup...YUM. The staff was super nice and friendly and they had La Liga MX soccer on the tv which I loved. I REALLY loved it and I'll be back for sure. Wastelanders, check this place out in Cal City in a few weeks for the festival. I Mr Tomato.

Slow bad service need better and faster workers and service ..PRICES ARE TOO HIGH for this place and the service ...I'm sooo disappointed in the location but than again it is California city....sooo sad...TURTLE SERVICE ....THEY ARE SUPER SLOW WAITED 1hour for food

Good steak sandwiches. Great prices. It's a little joint in town. Their French fries are delicious, and so are their chicken strips.

Service is meh.Prices raised and portion reduced $7 for just a single grilled cheese no fries or drink

Overall, multiple experiences with good food and bad service.I go here pretty often(about twice a month) and the food is above average with taste and serving size. However, EVERY SINGLE TIME THERE SERVICE IS FRUSTRATING. Here are some examples:- They gave my food to someone else who had a different name then me.(Their name sounded similar but they didnt listen Or double check)- I wanted to pay half cash and half card, and the cashier had to bring another employee over to count the money. It took seemly 10 minutes to pay.- I made a togo order over the phone and they repeated everything back to me yet they didnt make/missed some of the things I requested.- I was dining in and they asked me 4 TIMES if I was eating there. Almost every employee asked and I had already ordered for dine in..... -_-Lastly, something they do that really annoys me is that they will call you 10 minutes after your order is done to tell you it is ready. I DO NOT NEED A PHONE CALL TELLING ME THAT. I AM COMING TO GET MY FOOD THAT I JUST ORDERED.PLEASE GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER MR.TOMATO.
