Mountain Coffee House

Called in an order today. The girl on the phone was very friendly & helpful. We ordered the pesto avocado toast, turkey ciabatta & protein shake. My husband went to pick it up. Very nice clean friendly place. Fast service. Everything was delicious and perfect portion sizes. A must try they have lots of food & drink options that look good as well.

Definitely looks like the kind of place it would be nice to just sit and read good book.As far as the coffee I had high hopes based on the reviews, but sadly, the coffee fell short of my expectations.I ordered an oat milk, shaken espresso. The shots were over extracted and a bit bitter. Possibly could've been that the beans were over roasted, but either way not what I was expecting. It's possible that some of their other drinks would be more to my liking, so I may come back another day since I'll be in town for a few days and try it out again.

Great local stop. One of my most favorite home town pop ins. The coffee is great the presentation even better. We had the Campfire Mocha today and it is so dang cute!!!! Taste is ooff the charts. Service is exceptional. I am having a grilled cheese today and we got a ham ciabata. The food is top notch. The only downside is if you don't come check it out yourself!!

We were looking for a quick sit down lunch while on the long drive to Las Vegas. There are many good restaurants in Tehachapi, but we wanted a fast but delicious bite. Mountain Coffe had great reviews and the food looked scrumptious. We found it easily, just off Tahachapi Blvd. located in a tiny house. The coffee house is cute and quirky with lots of little seating areas both inside and outside. We ordered a Turkey ciabatta sando and an almond cookie to keep it company. We found a seat at a long picnic table in the shade on the outside patio.We picked up the food at the counter and settled in. We split the sando, which was a bit small by our usual Central Coast standards but it was delicious with nice fresh bread melted cheese tomato spinach and pesto. We gobbled it down enjoying the fresh breeze and knowing the heat was soon to come.We finished up the almond chip cookie in the car and it gave us the energy to speed on our journey.

Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Waffles looked good too. Fast friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely recommend over the chain coffee places!

Safe, comfortable atmosphere with great coffee! It was a wonderful space to catch up with my out-of-state friend.

Our go to stop when we drive home from Vegas, i love the pesto sandwich and vanilla coffee.

Love it. Got the turkey ciabatta. Nice and hot when it came out. Full of flavor. Got a Frappuccino with rose and lavender. Also good! The girls were very friendly. Place was clean and nice in the inside. Will be back.

The food is great and the coffee is phenomenal! The staff here is friendly and the interior and exterior of the store is decorated beautifully. There's a group of women who knit and sell their own knitting products as well and it's just in the time for the cold season as well! This is a place where you should definitely come by if you're in the town, it's well worth the travel and time!

This is a hidden little gem with delicious coffee and food! Had an almond milk latte with cinnamon steamed in and a Birds Eye. The coffee was made perfectly and the food was delicious! Highly recommend and wish this was closer to home.
