This is my 3rd Lexus from this place. I've had different sales people each time but I have to say that this time, Cameron was great! He was extremely helpful and got me in and out in 2 hours! We spoke on the phone first, he told me to check out their website for available inventory and when I got there he had them ready to go for a drive. Thank you so much Cameron! I'm sure I'll be back in a few years. Also I have to add that Ino in the service department is awesome as well. He's always friendly and will answer any questions you may have.

This is a review for two purchases. In March of 2022, we found ourselves in need of a car. Lexus wasn't even on my radar. I was shopping for a Camry hybrid for my wife. At the time, I couldn't locate a single Camry hybrid in Southern California that didn't have a ridiculous "market adjustment." Even if i ordered one, no one could guarantee when I'd get it or if it would be the trim level I wanted (XSE). I looked at Lexus on the advice of a friend who told me Motor City does not charge more than MSRP. He told me to call Ali, which I'm glad I did. After I made an appointment to drive an ES 300h, I went down and was promptly greeted by Ali. I then found out he's the GM, so he directed me to chat with Kenny, who was the salesman. Kenny gave me the keys to the car and said take it for a spin, have lunch, come back and we'll talk about it. I believe I was driving off the lot on a test drive in under 15 minutes. My wife fell in love. Lexus truly sells itself so she decided we should have a look at pricing. As it turns out, our car was only about 2k more than the Camry I wanted when you added the markup. Kind of a no brainer. But, during early to mid 2022, nothing was in stock. Kenny quoted me 8 weeks and 8 weeks later I got the call. Unfortunately there was some cosmetic damage discovered on the interior blurring prep. So Kenny told me they would have to fix it before we could take delivery and asked if there was anything they could do for me for the delay. I asked half-hearted if he could tint the windows and without hesitation he said no problem. Ceramic tint on all but the windshield too. Delivery day was smooth, zero BS, zero hidden junk fees, 100% transparency. We're 100% satisfied. Ali and Kenny were active ND responsive thru the whole process. Kenny even emailed me 6 months later to schedule my first complimentary service. Just amazing.Soooo...fast forward to last month. My mom was looking at getting a 4runner. I suggested a GX460 and set her up to talk to Ali and Kenny. Same awesome treatment, same awesome pricing, they took care of my mom completely. There was even a weird situation with her down payment and they let her drive off with her word that she'd resolve the issue and make the down payment. She's totally happy with her GX and the whole Motor City Lexus experience. Ali and Kenny, if y'all read this, know that as long as you're there, I'll be buying my next car from you. No question.

Kenny at Motor City of Bakersfield is amazing! He over delivered in my expectations and provided one of the best car buying experiences I ever had! I reached out to Motor City Bakersfield because I knew they were one of a few dealerships that sells Lexus' at MSRP currently. Kenny picked up the phone and was straight forward with me at the very beginning. I understood that there is a wait time due to supply chain issues and was already waiting at another dealership for an allocation. He was very clear at setting the expectation for the vehicle and provided me with all the info I needed. I told him exactly what I was looking for. He was very responsive to all my questions.I placed a deposit with Kenny and by the weekend Kenny had found a car at another dealership matching what I was looking for. I didn't expect to get the car right away and thought I had to wait for an allocation. I was not able to make it into the dealership as I live in the Bay Area so Kenny was able to deliver the car to me and arrange the paperwork to be done by overnight mail. Maricela was great at going over all of the options with me and answered all of my questions with financing.The car was delivered to me this morning by another friendly person from the dealership. I was impressed that Kenny was able to get the car I wanted in 2.5 weeks and treated me like a valued customer. Compared to the other dealership I was working with who treated me like another number and didn't really care about making things happen.If you need a Lexus I recommend Motor City Lexus and Kenny because they will make things happen! It doesn't matter where you live, they will make sure you get the car you want!I plan to work with Motor City Lexus for all my future car buying needs!

1 Star - Worst Experience with Motor City Lexus & Mohammed DouglasI purchased a vehicle wholesale from Motor City Lexus in Bakersfield and picked it up around 4 PM yesterday. By 9 AM this morning, I was kicked out of the dealer auction after someone from Motor City Lexus falsely reported me for fraud!Apparently, Mohammed Douglas--who works in the technology department (the guy who shows you how to use Bluetooth after you buy a car)--took it upon himself to contact the dealer auction and falsely accuse me of rolling back miles on a vehicle I literally just picked up hours prior. The miles are exactly the same as when I purchased it, and the vehicle is in the exact same condition as when I left their lot.This unprofessional, reckless, and completely false accusation is costing my company thousands of dollars. What business does someone in the tech department have meddling in wholesale transactions? Why is an employee with no authority over dealer sales contacting auctions and spreading false information?I paid the full asking price, took the vehicle as-is, and in return, I get this nonsense harassment? Motor City Lexus should be held accountable for their employee's reckless behavior.I am extremely unhappy with this situation, and legal action is coming. If you are a dealer, wholesaler, or anyone in the auto industry, avoid doing business here at all costs--you might pay them money just to have their employees sabotage your business. Absolutely disgraceful.

**Rating: **I added myself to the waitlist for my dream car outside of my commuting area with the assurance that it would be delivered and everything would be electronic. After over a month of waiting (6 mths of searching), I was told I needed to come in person. I called asking to electronically sign and even hiring a notary, but was informed there were other people on the list and if I wasn't interested, they could give the car to someone else. I drove over 200 miles, and instead of acting with urgency, they seemed more focused on getting Instagram pictures than on finalizing my purchase. Communication was poor, and my time was not respected.I am reading a 2-star instead of 1 because management did reach out afterward. They blamed the issue on the sales associate, but for a luxury brand like this, there should be a much stronger focus on proper training and customer service. It's disappointing to feel like your business isn't valued, especially after such a long wait.

Kenny and the entire staff were so helpful thru my purchase process. I had been looking for a while but didn't care for all unsolicited contact from other dealerships. Kenny respected my requests. Not only that but he was so helpful in helping me navigate this major choice. The rest of the staff were seemingly genuine in wanting to assist me and answer my questions.
