Monika's Tacos catered my sons' birthday party this past weekend and I'm so glad I chose them! To start, Roan was really patient and a great communicator while I weighed all my options. He was able to go over pricing for both the cater and serve as well as the catering drop off and answered all my questions. Once all the details were sorted, Roan sent over an invoice and then a deposit was sent over to hold my date.Fast forward to the day of the party. They were on time as promised. We got so many compliments from our guests about how delicious the tacos were. The meats were al pastor, chicken, and asada. They also provided rice, beans, chips, and a salsa bar of cilantro, onions, limes, red and green salsa, grilled onions, and jalapeno. The al pastor was the biggest hit and ran out the fastest, but all three meats were tasty and have a little spicy kick. I know a few of my guests were going back for a third and fourth plate. One thing that sets Monikas apart from other taco carts I've experienced was the great service. Roan served up each plate of tacos and added the toppings as well as opposed to letting each person serve their own. This definitely kept the food table less messy and to me goes above and beyond to make sure the food was presented at its best.I hope to have the opportunity to have Monika's tacos at another event in the future as they were a pleasure in every way and I highly recommend to give them a try if you're thinking about it!

WE TRAVELED ALL THE WAY FROM THE BAY AREA TO TASTE THESE AMAZING TACOS, & THEY WERE WORTH EVERY BITE. The quintessential taco is a perfect vessel to deliver a myriad of ingredients & complex flavors. Although seemingly quite simple to make, it can easily be done wrong.As an amateur taco connoisseur, I can say that I have had my share of good and bad tacos. Not all tacos are created equal. Monika's Tacos are a beautiful example of how TACOS ARE DONE RIGHT. You could tell that every component of their tacos are prepared with a labor of love and detailed attention. The meats (carne asada, pollo, and pastor) were very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Tender, salted perfectly, sweet when they needed to be, a little bit of char to bring dimension, and just overall full of umami. The tortillas were the perfect size, warmed over the grill, and held the meats, delicious grilled onions, raw onions, cilantro, and homemade salsas so well. THEIR SALSAS ARE HOMEMADE AND SO GOOD. We just could not get enough of the salsas that made their tacos shine even more. Most importantly, I think what sets Monika's Tacos apart from most establishments is the honest kind service from the owners, Roan & Monika. They're both really down to earth genuine people. Supporting small family business like theirs is a must. If you ever get the opportunity to reserve them for your future catering event, you will not be disappointed. WE LOVE YOU, MONIKA'S TACOS!

This is the second time that my family and I have had Monika's tacos , my favorite are the chicken tacos while my husband likes the trio plate with all three and they taste amazing nothing is overwhelming. Nothing is overpowering another; the taste so nicely seasoned, the onions are so good .The meat portions are perfect. Cannot wait to hire them for my son's birthday party. Definitely something to brag about

Great experience! Monika's tacos brought the A-team to my sister's birthday party. 1. The food was on point. 2. The team was friendly and professional. It was great having them and we'll definitely be calling them for our next event; Plus they have an extensive menu. They do offer everything, but will customize your menu to your preferences.

The tacos were so delicious! I loved how they were juicy. A lot of times these types of tacos can be dry but this wasn't the case with Monikas Tacos. I loved all the topping that went with the tacos too. The two men who cooked and served were very friendly. I'd highly recommend!
