Mondavi Park

Mondavi Park is located just South of Columbia Elementary school at the end of Mondavi Street, and its 9.3 acres are well maintained by the NOR Parks & Recreation District. There were crew members cleaning on the Wednesday morning on which I made my visit, hosing down and scrubbing the concrete areas and the restrooms.Even though it is a small park, there is a basketball court complete with nets, a volleyball court with a net, a large grassy field, and a large play structure for the kids with a layer of bark below to break falls.There is a large covered area with many picnic tables and several barbecue grills that can be reserved and rented by contacting NOR at 392-2010 and filling out an application which you can download here http://norfun.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/FR-100-Use-of-Facility-Online-Packet.pdfThere are individual picnic tables scattered throughout the park with their own grills, too.There are public restrooms consisting of four separate individual rooms that can be locked by the occupant. They were all clean.

This park was perfect for us, shade, benches, clean, not much ppl around. There's a spot to play volleyball, snd my dogs were calm and happy and my daughter loved the playgrounds. It was to small but it was huge. I think they're was a basketball court too. Very lovely and peaceful.
