THE ROSES ARRIVED WITH A STRONG SMELL OF PAINT AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME AN EXCHANGE OR REFUND. I ordered some roses for my children's God mother for her birthday. I placed an order over the phone. I requested black roses with Sunflowers and a box of chocolates. Rosa Moderna (she said was her name) informed me they didn't have black roses, but was able to make them black. I paid, and she had them delivered. My children's God mother informed me she got the roses that reeked of paint solvents and no box of chocolates. The paint smell was so strong, she had to place the roses outside. The roses stayed outside all evening, throughout the night, and past the next morning. After several hours, there was still a strong smell of paint solvents that could be smelled several feet away. I called Rosa Moderna about my issue with it reeking of paint and if she can either give me a refund or an exchange. She stated that she can not give a refund or exchange. She admitted to using paint on the roses to alter the color. The only refund she was able to give me was for the chocolates. After 10 minutes of expressing my concerns I asked, " so I basically purchased a bouquet of roses that can only be enjoyed from outside?" She nicely responded, " yes " No apology or remorse. I have purchased black roses before from other florists and have never had this problem. $110 down the drain. Save your money.

WARNING- Do not order from this place. I placed an order from their website. I live out of state. Wanted to send my mom who lives in Rosamond flowers for Mother's Day. When I placed order 1st thing in the morning yesterday. (Eastern time) the website said it would be delivered same day (May 10th) they never were. Called my Mom the day after and that's when I found out they never got delivered. I called the store and they hung up on me. Called again a few hours later (morning) they said they'd call me back in 2 hours. It's now evening and they never called me back. I've been trying to call them back and I just get voicemail. Left messages and still nothing. At this point I just want a refund but since I can't even get them to answer my phone calls or return my calls. I doubt I will be getting a refund.
