Mid Valley Trees

So we head out here the Saturday after Christmas with my family to look for a few trees. Yelp says they are open 7-3:30 on Saturdays. There is a sign outside saying 7-3:30 on Saturdays but the gate is locked. I see someone in a golf cart riding around and a sign that says "ring the bell for service." Having never been here before I think, man that's weird let me ring the bell like it says. I ring the bell once and wait about two min. A guy comes down in his golf cart and I say "Hi"He doesn't say anything and just points to the gate. I say "are you open?" He says "can't you see the gate?" How incredibly rude. I say "I only see two signs, one says open 7-3:30 and one saying to ring the bell for service."He says "We are closed." I look around and say "where does it say that?" He says "the locked gate is obvious." I didn't want to argue with some stranger in front of my kids so we just turn around and leave, wife and kids upset over the interaction. Apparently they are closed between holidays and we are supposed to figure out the bell sign is not applicable during that time. Anyhow we got what we needed from Leo's Nursery on Dinuba Blvd. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Wish I could say the same about MidValley Trees.

This place is the Central Valley's best kept secret! A beautifully kept nursery with a wide variety of great plants and trees and excellent customer service. From the owner to Alonzo who drove us around in the golf cart showing us and helping us select the highest quality items we could find. Alonzo was not only a great customer service associate but was amazing in showing us a variety of options when looking for something with color and sun specifics. While some exotics were a little pricey they were certainly worth it in comparing the quality we purchased from other establishments. Other non-exotic nursery plants and shrubs were similarly priced and exceeded the competition by size and overall quality. It was our first time here-although we returned for more the very same day-and we will definitely be back!!!

We have always had excellent service at MVT. We have worked with Alonzo and he remembered us from our first visit. We told him what we were looking for when we were redoing our backyard. He did not hesitate to drive us back and forth, showing us many different options before we made our decisions. There are so many great options and varieties. The staff is very knowledgeable and was able to offer suggestions based on what we liked. We are very happy with all of our trees. We ended up getting 2 varieties of Japanese Maples, an October Glory Maple, a multi-stem white natchez crape myrtle, and several tiny towers. We have sent family members there and they have been very happy as well. Highly recommend and look forward to going back for the next set of trees.

We bought this healthy Eureka pink lemon from Mid Valley trees. The staff were really helpful and I have to highlight they have great customer service in this place. We were just visiting Visalia and we checked several nurseries in town and they have rendered the best customer service. They helped us wrap the container as we had to drive back in San Joaquin county, this prevented the dirt from falling. This place is highly recommended.

OMG... LOVE this place. I am a plant freak. I'm always looking for plants that are unique but grow in extreme heat location. I can't tell you how many nurseries, home & garden shows, yards, magazines, buy-sell-trade sites, etc. that I've visited and rarely find plants that are cool-looking-different AND thrive in the Central Valley. We'll, I found it here. I bought three 5-gal Lavender 'Meerlo' (see picture). They are perfect! The amazing thing is that there were more choices just as good. I came home, pulled my existing sorry spiral junipers out of their pots and put these in. They are beautiful. I'm going back to buy some more "different" plants. Did I say they have cacti and succulents?? They are just as amazing. They have specimen size cactus and succulents too. I bought a 2 ft Euphorbia 'Sticks on Fire' for $15 bucks. Fabulous! And really nice, helpful, knowledgeable people too. If you like plants and appreciate knowledgeable people, give yourself a treat and walk around this place and buy some plants from them. I want them there.

After going to MVT, I would never consider buying trees anywhere else! They have a huge selection of trees available in 10-15 gallon tubs or 24-36 inch wood boxes. We were looking for a couple shade trees and we were met with a kind, knowledgeable staff who really helped us find what we were looking for. We opted for trees in 24 inch boxes and we got home with well established trees that are already providing us with decent shade. For the quality of tree we left with, we got a great price! They also have a large selection of plants and shrubs that are well cared for and beautiful. We didn't leave with anything other than trees but I definitely wanted to!It's worth saying again, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We received planting and watering advice for each of our trees which is far more than we have received from a store like Home Depot, Lowes, OSH, or Target. Everything here is a MUCH better quality than what you would find from a retail Garden Center. Going to MVT is worth the drive and worth any extra investment you may make.Business hours are 7:30AM-3:30PM Monday through Saturday and the website (http://www.midvalleytrees.com) is extremely helpful if you want to research before you visit.

These guys are awesome! So knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They are way more than just your typical nursery. Household to growers.. they have it all!

I've only visited once but I love this place! The cactuses I purchased for Mother's Day gifts are blooming beautifully. My mom and sister in law both love them. Thank you Mid valley Trees for all of your help.

Third time visiting Mid Valley Trees. Really great customer service every time we visit. Today we were helped by Gerardo and Buddy. Really great job and patient with me and my decisiveness and questions. Best nursery in the valley. If you haven't tried it, you really should. They have a huge selection. The name is deceiving. You can find everything you need there, not just trees.
