Wildly disappointing. They leave the front desk staff so severely understaffed that they can't possibly triage correctly. The providers shrugged off someone who wasn't able to breath and said they had to wait in an area they weren't even visible the lady was legit passing out, then they wouldn't allow me back with my partner which ending up being a good thing because I saw them try to turn away a women because she didn't speak English, I work in the health care field so I stepped in and asked about translation services and the front clerk was like "oh ya where is that tablet"? They flat out accused a man of being homeless and trying to get pain meds and wouldn't even allow him to see an actual medical professional, he said multiple times he was not homeless but she just argued with him saying he obviously was...They let other companions go back with the person they came in with but told me it was too crowded. I believe this was in retaliation due to me speaking up several times while I was there. My partner was placed in a converted storage closet with a door that wouldn't close. They told her to pull down her pants to receive a shot with the door open and other patients looking in.They gave her a treatment that took 7 minutes and then left her in the room for 2 and a half hours, she could overhear the nurses realizing they had forgotten her.Honestly just such an over sad experience.

I came to emergency, and I noticed only the Halls emergency ambulance people were being taken care of first. They must have a contract with the hospital, where there people are being taken care of first. So if you're going to the emergency, make sure Halls is taking you so you can be in and out. I've been here two hours! Their doctors have a lack of apathy for when it comes to your pain. You're supposed to be there with pain and when the doctors have a lack of apathy and you tell them, your pain is at the level of 10 that should be some sort of food for thought as a Professional! thank and that's why I don't have my care here. It's done down south mainly because I was misdiagnosed by this group of hospitals and doctors.

My wife found my father in law Laid out on our front lawn and unfortunately Hall Ambulance took him to this God forsaken place. They didn't run any tests aside from a CT scan to check if he had a stroke. His first week there they said his kidneys failed so they put him on dialysis. Second week he was there they never noticed that his knee was swollen and he would be in pain whenever they moved him. They didn't X-ray his knee for another week. Now he has an infection on his foot and he just doesn't look like he is getting better. It seems like this hospital has doctors with no empathy, sympathy, or morals. They just let patients sit there and wither away

I went in for chest pains on 11/30/24 at around 5:45 am and checked in with a female RN and male triage nurse. While checking in they asked me for 2 IDs bc I presented my new ID bc its a paper from the DMV and has my newly changed name and gender on it. They RN kept asking multiple times for me to confirm my name and gender and had me sit down for the triage. while sitting down I was shaking my leg because of course im nervous being at the hospital. The triage nurse kept misgendering me and when walking back to the testing area misgendered me to my fiancée and she corrected him. While I was in the back waiting for my blood ekg and MRI tests my fiancée overheard the two nurses that checked me in talking about me as patients were coming in and out and in the waiting area. The female nurse was talking about how she won't ask patients about their identity unless management forces them and how a man is still a man in women's clothing and vise versa. The male nurse mentioned how when my fiancée corrected him he just wanted to yell at her to shut up. they went on to make fun of my last name and claim that it was fully made up. I have a Samoan name from my Samoan family and it begs the question do they think only white people last names are acceptable? The nurses went on and on about me for over 45 minutes claiming I was just mentally ill because i was shaking my leg when doing my intake. while my fiancée heard them for 45 minutes she finally confronted them and demanded that we with withdraw our care. The male nurse kept misgendering me to her while she was confronting them and refused to do it and said I had to on my own ask for withdrawal and up and left the scene. I saw him walk to the back of where they have their stuff grab his things and leave quickly while side eyeing me. I reported the two to the doctor, the head nurse and the patient complaint hotline. If you can't put your biases aside you shouldn't work in healthcare at all. This exact situation is the reason I avoid getting any healthcare because of transphobic individuals that shouldn't be in the healthcare field at all.

Insanely and completely rude check in staff. No one told me what to do except for the security guard who only told me to check in. Once I checked in I stood there for about 10 minutes looking like a fool. The check-in lady was so rude enough to say what are you doing and did you check in yet, I said I did check in I've been waiting, she said then why haven't you giving it to me yet. And I said I haven't been told what to do. She asked me if I had my id, I said yes, but that I'm looking for another emergency room that I can go to. One that's less busy, and, (in my head I said) "one with less rude people", but I didn't say that out loud. I then decided to leave to find a less busy emergency room, had no luck, decided to come back here, and the security guard said that they would no longer see me. I don't know why. I wasn't rude, I didn't cause a fit, I didn't damage anything. All I did was stand there and wait for someone to tell me what to do and the front right check in lady was so rude as if I could read her mind or know how the process works. All I did was fill out the check in paperwork, stand there, wait to be told what to do, get spoken to so unnecessarily rudely, and then I politely told them I'm just going to go find another emergency room. And then when I get back, I'm told they don't want to see me anymore and I'm not allowed inside. That is complete b*llshit. I came in with festering and infected and pussy wounds from an assault, plus severe dehydration and panic and anxiety, and she has the gall to treat me like that? I don't and did not deserve that, and someone being rude to me after everything I've been through after the assault, during the assault, etc. is the last thing I need. She deserves to be fired or highly retrained and taken off the job.I wouldn't go here if you want to be treated like a human. She makes healthcare look insanely bad. I'd rather wait hours elsewhere to at least be treated decently. She seems like a terrible human.

For a hospital whose motto is "hello human kindness" some of your staff is incredibly rude & unkind. And while that doesn't apply to all of the staff there, RN Jen showed absolutely 0 compassion during what was one the scariest moments of my life. I brought my daughter in to this hospital because my 1 year old daughter had a bad fall & hit her head on concrete. My daughter was starting to fall asleep in the waiting room, I went up to RN Jen to ask if it was safe to let her fall asleep. I was worried that if I let my daughter fall asleep that she wouldn't wake up so l wanted to make sure. To summarize the interaction with RN Jen she immediately blamed me for my daughter's fall and proceeded to make me feel like I was wasting her time for asking her a question. She was dismissive & incredibly insensitive. She left me in tears. I wanted to take my daughter to a different hospital after the way she spoke to me but decided against it because I was afraid that if something was actually wrong with my daughter that I would be wasting precious time transporting her elsewhere. I later asked to speak to the charge nurse and asked for the department managers name and card. I was told the charge nurse would come speak to me after attending to a medical emergency, i was there for an additional 3 hours after that and nobody ever came to talk to me. Thank God everything was ok with my daughter. But if possible I will avoid coming back to this hospital. This was definitely the ugliest interaction I've ever had with a medical professional of any kind.

Business number I was admitted into ICU for in October I was taken to Mercy at for sepsis and while I was in the ICU I accidentally recorded my nurses well my day nurses talking very badly about me stating things like I was just trying to get attention that I was faking things it just so happens that those nurses were the same ones who I had taken note and mentioned to the night nurses were very rough and mean to me in comparison to the way that I was treated by the night nurses the way that they talked about me during this hour and a half that they were accidentally recorded and talked about me to multiple staff was unprofessional it was false and hurtful and I intend to file a complaint and seek to file a civil case for it .
