Mendoza Auto Dismantling

I was looking to buy a used engine from this business but reading the poor review on how they sold that person a bad engine and didnt want to cover the labor to replace the defective engine Ill take my business elsewhere. Lkq covers the labor for a faulty engine. If this business had just done the right thing ethically then I would feel more comfortable going with them. Ill doing business elsewhere they treat their customers right.

I'm one of the few women that enjoy fixing their own cars. When I need a part, I come to mendozas to get my car parts. They have the greatest prices in town and the owners are very friendly.

I was traveling from California back down to Texas when my transmission gave out. I called Mendoza Auto Dismantling & they took such great care of me!! They were able to fix my car and have me and my little family back on the road in no time! THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE ! & especially Ana and the mechanics that worked on my car!

came to get a small part for an electric seat these guys are not nice rude and pathetic they wanted us to buy the whole seat for $250 if this seat would be decent but it was eaten but rats and all ugly unbelievable this place sucks and rude and have No proper costumers service

Bought an engine for my car and had a mechanic shop do the installation. They go to start it and it wont turn over because something internally is messed up. I call up Mendoza and they will get me a replacement engine no problem. Okay, I understand things happen. But they will not cover the labor for the mechanic to install the junk engine. It clearly states on the invoice that management can approve reimbursement on labor, but they don't.I talked to Fabian and Johnny about reimbursement on labor. They tell me since they bought to motor from 3rd party, they will not cover labor. I point out that bought the engine from Mendoza's and don't know where the engine comes from, as far as I know it came from their inventory in another yard. They repeatedly tell me that they warrantied the engine and try to sound like saints but I ask about the $900 labor bill they simply just tell me they will not cover it because, "they don't have to."I will bet that Fabian writes a response about a misunderstanding and/or to contact them to go over this issue. I did and talked to both of them without yelling or cussing with 1 question and they danced around it and defected over and over again with excuse after excuse. So, I had to pay the mechanic bill twice because I used Mendoza's.

Very disappointed. Everything was going great from service and prices. I'm a very reasonable person with reasonable expectations however I do not appreciate being told that they would be here at 10:30pm and showed up after 11 pm to drop off my car.To make matters worse they were extremely loud coming through my neighborhood as I could hear yelling all the way down the street from who was dropping off the car. When taking my car for a test drive it shut off on me at a stop light leaving me stranded (again after 11:30 pm). Not bringing my phone and not having a flashlight is my own fault yes but not when I paid almost $400 to get a car returned with a disconnected battery. Thank you for fixing the car but you're business could definitely take some notes and use some double checking

Would never go again, after agreeing to a price and warranty for so long they when they were done with my truck they charged me extra and The warranty was for no where near as long as to what they said
