McNally’s Hamburgers

McNally's hamburgers is located near the top of the mountain road. There is no other food for sale for many many miles. The menu is simple, and at the same time extensive for this category of restaurant. There are six (6) large picnic tables out front and it's very relaxing. The river is a stones throw away and that is also somewhere to go eat. The hamburgers are huge and filling. Everything is made to order. The milkshakes are unbelievably great. The French fries are cooked correctly. I did not try anything else so I will not offer further comment. The sign say food is served until four. The caveat is that if you don't get here by three - thirty (3:30) to order it you're driving about 45 minutes to an hour to the next burger joint.

I hadn't been to this McNally in about a year. I had work to do in the upper kern area. I stopped by and ordered my burger fries and drink. Excited to eat burger, I noticed it tasted very salty. Even more with the bacon.

I was surprised to find this place in themiddle of nowhere. Ordered the breakfast sandwich. they had vegan cheese since im lactose intolerant. It was very good

GREAT burger joint! Plus other options like chili cheese fries and shakes but I really wanted a burger...this place got the spot right on!

Awesome stop driving up the Keen River north of Kernville. Fantastic burger. You can BYOB or buy Kern River Brewing beer from the adjacent general store. Also offers Impossible burgers and vegan cheese.
