McMurphys Irish Tavern

Lay back bar . Service was great ambiance was great the DJ play great music.We had are friend 50th birthday celebration in the patio and they did an amazing job hosting for as thank you . It was my first time there I will be going back for drinks the bartender did delicious drinks for us. They had no food but they did have a outside vendor and they had some delicious hamburger

Super slow service. Don't waste your time. Music was good just some bad transitions from the dj here and there. I think the bar tenders need better training. There's potential but it just seems like no one cares.

Was brought here by family on a dive bar day and boy, this place was worse than a dive bar. The bartender did not know how to make a margarita, and she asked what was in a vodka soda. The area is not the safest. This was a one and done type of place.

Fun night out with friends and family. This place gets loud and crazy on special occasions

Shitty place. Just by that I said it all . Don't ever go there . The workers, place and securities are trash and they treat you like one. This place was the first horrible experience ever !! I'm not lying . They feel like they are the SHIT but they really are SHIT but not the good one . They charge as $41 to go in and treat as like trash and the place is not even that nice. DJ was horrible on the mix we didn't know what was going on. Mexican then pop then reguétton in les than 3 mins ....

A chill spot in Bakersfield, I have passed this place dozens of times while out in Bakersfield for work but never stopped in til now. When I walked in there were several people at the bar chatting and hanging out. Inside was pretty unremarkable. Lots of open space and some tables as well as seats all along the bar. Luckily it was happy hour so I got some Irish nachos (not sure what made them "Irish") and they were damn good! The bartender was a total sweetheart and we chatted briefly. I give it 4 stars for the tasty grub and the sweet bartender lady. I may come by next time I'm in town...

Known for its drinks and for being the most popular place on st Patrick's day... it also has some of the best burgers and wings in the business

Small area for dancing. Booths/tables for drinking and sitting. Everything is cash only. The spread at the door, the drinks behind the counter all cash so be prepped for that. I wasn't Drinks were good but can't attest to the food. Music was throw back.

I don't even know where to begin, came in Saturday 11-4-2 looking for a new spot. It started off good went with some my buddies and we got a few drinks, turns out the bartenders are faded as well. That wasn't my main concern, the trouble happened when I was drunk and decided to approach a girl you know how it is lol. Turns out they let underage girls in this bar! Never coming here again..left before it could've got worse. Who runs a business like this risking others life's, heard it was some girl in the bar claiming it was hers. Not something to be proud of?

McMurphys is a solid Eastside dive bar. It has every enjoyable thing that one would want from a neighborhood dive bar. Tavern denotes bar and food and the food there is fantastic. Anyone seeking out definitive hamburger experiences is advised: the burgers at McMuphy's are superb on an epic scale; so are their fries. Try their wings. Its hard to simply describe the cooking style. Pure attention and care about what makes the dish what it should be, and generous for the price, is the best that I can come up with now. McMuphy's is a gem.
