Max Nutrition 661

This is probably going to be my shortest review I've ever made and I wouldn't have done one but since I've checked in yelp wants me to review. I went here with my fiancé to get some supplements from what I know they are overpriced. But they did have a good deal to where you can take anything from the table if you made a purchase so I believe he took a meal prep travel bag. It was probably worth a decent amount. So it all evened out. The store was clean the staff was nice the end. :)

Devon was definitely a great help with all the questions we had about protein shakes & fat burners. He answered all of our questions. Definitely explained everything in detail & went above & beyond to make sure i understood everything i had questions on. As far as coming back to him for help i would recommend him 100 percent to anyone to anyone that has questions.

I came here with my friend to get some supplements because we were starting a new diet. The staff was extremely helpful from beginning to end. I highly recommend Max Nutrition to anyone looking for Nutritional Supplements in Bakersfield.

Very bothered. My husband and I buy from this store all the time and have been for about two years now and I had a terrible experience today. We came in a few days ago for Blackstone's Dust X preworkout, and were going to use a full stamp rewards card that we had and the gentlemen working asked us if we were sure we wanted to use it for the discount, that we could use it for a free item that was under $40. We asked about the other preworkout we get, Nutraleaf and he said that we could use the rewards card for a free bottle of that instead. He told to come back for the Nutraleaf because there weren't any in the store at the moment. Just went back around 3:35pm today and asked for the Nutraleaf pre and was told they don't have it. I told him of my experience a few days ago and he then admitted that there was some behind the counter. Then, as he was ringing it up, he started telling me about how it was a natural pre so it clumps up a lot (which is ridiculous because they all do that as they age), and he went on to tell me that he didn't want to see me coming back here complaining if I didn't like how it look. As he did this he acted out a complaining person, feigning with a ridiculous girly voice. At that point I didn't even know what to say. He was blabbing on and I had never experienced being mocked in such a childish way from a salesperson. Eventually, I went to pay with the card I had and then he went on to tell me that the card didn't cover the item. I couldn't believe I was wasting my time on this whole situation. I calmly explained my conversation with the salesman from my last visit. At that point he started questioning me about who that person was. As if that was my job to keep track of? So I told him the day and time of the transaction so he could see who worked. At this point I was really losing my patience with the entire exchange and asked him if he thought that I was lying or if I was lied to. He told me that the person that helped me before likely did not want to have the savings card used during his shift to increase his sale. I really could not believe this guy was being so rude and unprofessional. Trying to place blame on coworkers reflects very poorly on any institution. After he finally stopped talking, he accepted the card. I told him that I was unhappy with the entire experience and left.

Love getting all my supplements here! Highly knowledgeable employees. Always well stocked and CLEAN. Low prices and deals/discounts offered. I follow them on insta to know when they're running a special.

I came in on Thursday evening. It was my first time to any Max Nutrition store. I needed more protein powder so I decided to stop by. The gentleman who was working that night had a very positive / welcoming attitude. He recommended to me this brand called Intek and I bought it, came home and he was spot on with the recommendation. I really like the flavor. I've been to almost all the nutrition stores in town and what I like about my experience with Max Nutrition is that the gentleman that was working that night didn't try to up sell me or sell me on other products that I didn't need or ask about. I feel like the other companies in town try to do that all the time which is why I started ordering online for while but I'll definitely be back to Max Nutrition.

This is THE place to go for work out supplements. Mark saved my life, bruh. He always come through with the best suggestions!!

I've been buying protein powder here for about 15 years. I've never found a better or cheaper product than Iteck Evolution. I use it as a coffee creamer. It mixes weill with cold or warm liquid. Then I add the hot coffee. Currently I"m using the chocolate flavor but caramel latte is good too.
