I stop here every time I'm in the area. The last few stops I added the tri-tip to my usual beef deep pit order. Both dishes are so delicious! Martin knows how to do Que just right! Their portions are always generous, fresh, and full of flavor. I always receive great, friendly customer service. I can't say enough about these wonderful people. They are truly kind and genuinely care about the service they provide. And of course.... I will be back for more.

I love the opportunity to support a local family business. I've ordered from Martin's Meats twice now. I must say that the food in excellent. All the meat has that perfect smoked flavor. The Tri-Tip is cooked perfectly, the chicken was moist and juicy and hot links had a nice kick and the ribs were tender all the way down to the bone. Service here is always top notch, you can all or even text your preorder in, which is nice. They accept Venmo, Apple Pay and good old fashioned cash. The business itself is small, located in historic mill creek. It's small inside, but they do offer seating outside. Inside they have their meat counter, a small amount of produce, cold drinks, and a selection of sauces.

I would go else where for your catering needs. we were very specific on time and needs as it was for a funeral. They were 2 hours late for food and when I told them this the owner Martin was extremely rude and had no customer service. They stated they were missing payments even though we had receipts and said it wasn't their fault for being late. BAD SERVICE

I'm a returning customer! Martin's has always been one of my favorite places for lunch; they make the best tri tip sandwich in town! This time, we ordered a meal deal they had for New Year's. It included a rack of ribs. Whole BBQ chicken, and 2 lbs of tri tip, plus salsa, BBQ sauce, and rolls. There are four of us hanging out, and we know how to eat, but the food was so plentiful that it took us three days to eat it all! That includes a few luscious pieces for our puppy! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the chicken was perfect, and the tri tip was moist and juicy! For $100 it was a steal and a deal! I also like that they take Venmo for anything you want to buy. Very convenient! You can bet we'll be back soon!

Best BBQ ribs I've ever had. We cater Martin's Meats for our annual family get together when we have it in Bakersfield every few years. They had actually delivered and set up our entire order and we've on occasion picked it up. The sides are delicious too. Always fresh and hot, just off the grill meats. We never have to reheat anything. Great service as well. We've ordered ribs, links, chicken and tri tip, beans, potato salad, salad, white rice, rolls, salad and BBQ sauce. All have been delicious.

Bought 12 pounds of seasoned chuck roast, and it was perfect after we cooked it for Christmas. The men that help us was very helpful and told us for how long to cook it too and thankfull for that info . Meat was excellent. Will continue to buy from them.
