Mariscos La Gloria

This is by far the BEST!!! Shrimp cocktails I've had, I been to many seafood places in Southern California, Mexico! And this is seriously the best! If you are reading this you need to come and try it for yourself !!!! A1 quality !

This is literally one of those holes in the wall that you only hear of through word of mouth. Since I decided on being a practicing Catholic on this particular Friday, I gave it a shot. Located inside of the Gasco on County Line Road & CA-99, this place does not give a good first impression. Its in a corner of the gas station and it shares a minuscule dining area with a pizza counter that appears to be out of business. There's approximately 4 tables in the dining area, but you'd be hard pressed to get anything more than 10 people in there. On this day I ordered the shrimp cocktail (cóctel de camarón) and the shrimp & abalone cocktail (cóctel de camarón y abulón). The portions of shrimp and abalone were very generous! It's always a pleasant surprise when there's more seafood than veggies in a dish like this. You can ask for avocado, but on this occasion I forgot to do so. There's a small dollop of ketchup thrown in there and the hot sauce is on the side. When accompanied with saltine crackers or tostada shells, this is a great meal.

I'm VERY VERY disappointed. I came here a few times and always was satisfied. They usually give you a lot which I always end up having left overs. I get the middle cup which is $13. This time around I bought the usual I paid and waited. As she was preparing it (she seemed like the owner) I asked her if they add avocado and she said yes. I got my order and started eating it in the car. The cup HAD a lot of shrimp to the point where I couldn't move my spoon around. Well I realized there was no avocado so I got down and asked for the avocado she apologized and said "sorry when you ask I already charged you and we charge for avocado" what bothered me was she told me yes but didn't do it and she was aware! I would have paid extra. So she went to the back and added it and when I get back to the car to eat it she literally took shrimp out!!! I am NOT kidding. I could move my spoon around easily. I get it, I'm sure she had to take juice, a shrimp or two in order for the avocado to fit but she took out waaay more than two. I'm very upset other than that I do enjoy their food but after this I rather go some else.

As a pescatarian i eat a lot of sea food and i strongly believe this place has the best campechana, coctel, and their octopus texture is perfect. It's never a hid and miss.

Awesome seafood ...always fresh. The best part us the serving size. They really give you a value with their meals. The shrimp are huge and they always give a good size serving of pulpo. This place is hidden inside the gasco gas station ..it seems like the best places are here in Delano.

When they say this place is a hole in the wall, it really is a hole in the wall! Located in the Gasco on County Line Rd. I wouldn't have ever thought about stopping by here until my coworkers brought me some of their shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were huge! And everything tasted fresh. I've also had the octopus there and no complaints. They provide tostadas/crackers with your order and I do like that there are only a limited number of items on the menu which means they really focus on what they're serving you-especially important when dealing with fresh food! You can also order over the phone ahead of time if you're on a time crunch.

This is my favorite spot for shrimp cocktail. Quick service, fresh and the taste is to perfection.

Stumbled onto this place while driving I-5. I wasn't thinking about a seafood cocktail but I'm glad there's not much more in the menu. Friendly staff and good value. Adding to my favorites so I remember where to exit.
