I knew this place when it was El Presidente and I knew that it had closed. The land lord that owns the property is a friend of mine and wanted to meet me here. Like another customer stated that it had a funky odor and it was covered with bleach smell was true on my first visit and after talking with the owner of the restaurant, the menu sounded like it was worth coming back. I came back a second time and the owner recognized me and greeted me and directed us towards our table. There was no odor this time and it is an older establishment that actually was a house at one time. If you sit in the back area you can still see the crown moldings of the living area. We ordered the Marlin Empanadas- there is 4 to an order ($12). I wish I cut one so that you can see in the picture that it definitely is Marlin. Marlin is red flesh and I've fished in Cabo San Lucas and caught marlin and it's not the best flavored fish as it is dense and very oily. This definitely tasted like I remembered the last time I caught a marlin! Still this was good as I don't see marlin on the menu much so I usually order shrimp empanadas. We ordered Cooked Seafood Molcajete- Shrimp, octopus, crab, fish, and mussels. It came out boiling hot and I'm going to post video of the clay pot so you can see that it comes out hot from the kitchen!! Ordered a side of whole beans and homemade corn tortillas. Yes they do have homemade corn tortillas here and I definitely recommend! They also have a Tomahawk steak served with shrimp ($75) that I hear is a good seller!! Come support this restaurant! It's located on North Sante Fe and away from most businesses so you don't know it's there or has re-opened like I did!! Quality is good and everything had good flavor!

This is one of our favorites restaurants but unfortunately they moved locations so we don't go as often. They have some of the best mariscos/seafood in the area in my opinion. We usually get their gobernador tacos with whatever else we order. It's a tradition to get a couple of those tacos at least, they're amazing! My husband usually switches between the fish plate or the aguachiles but he loves both. I would recommend them for a date night.

Saw ads on IG and decided we needed to try. The only other place we've had a molcajete is down south so obviously had to try here since it's closer. Another review mentioned a bad smell when walking in. I'd have to agree but once we got seated we didn't even notice. You have to remember it is an older establishment that's been renovated. The smell was more like old plumbing mixed in with cleaning solution Micheladas were delicious! I don't like beer but I'd order these micheladas any day. They literally just got their liquor license the day we went so didn't have a bartender or a fully stocked bar yet. Shrimp empanadas were also on point. The shell was made of masa (which I'm not used to) and had shrimp in every bite. Most places we've been too was mostly cheese with maybe 1-2 shrimps in the whole thing. Sauce they served was on the spicy side (for me at least) but complimented the empanadas wellOyster shots were also good. The waitress had told us that the oysters were cooked but not the case. I was a little wary at first but the sauce they were in was good and the oysters tasted as fresh as some shooters we've had along the coastThe molcajete was just as good as the one we've had down south. The beef was a little dry if eaten on its own but not bad when wrapped in a tortilla n dipped in the sauce. Chicken was juicy and tender and the shrimps were of decent size and had a sweet taste to them. Our waitress was sweet and attentive and patient as we asked her questions. In fact, all the staff was helpful. When we got there there weren't many people but as it got busy I did notice the wait staff spread a little thin so I can see how some say service wasn't good. Either way we had a good experience and just found a new place to add to our regular list of restaurants

First time of coming across this resturant and I will be returning. From the last time I've been here pre-covid when it was another resturant; it has been updated inside. It's very clean and spacious. Our waitress was kind and attentive; chips and salsa on point. I ordered garlic shrimp and my friend had bacon wrapped shrimp. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious. Homemade corn tortillas......do I need to say more. Highly recommend to give it a try.

This restaurant was our version of "Casa Bonita" back when it was El Presidente. I had to check it out after seeing an ad on IG- and I'm so glad I did. We had Elysian Space Dust on tap, Beatbox blue raspberry cocktail (they are waiting on their liquor license), Shrimp Empanada w delicious dipping sauce, Shrimp tostada, Grilled fish taco, and chilequelas with beef to taste a little of the menu. Everything was delicious- I can't wait to go back. The green sauce in the chilequelas was SO GOOD; it's the same sauce you can get if you order a wet burrito. The empanada was delicious too- we've had them in Argentina so they are a Mexican version here- but I'd def recommend, the sauce was smoky to complement it. Shrimp tostada had lots of veggies to add crunch- beans were great on it too. Fish taco I'll try fried next time. Give it a try- can't wait to return. Service was very good! The restaurant itself could use a bit of polish but it was totally fine bc the food was delicious.

This was our first time here because we had a craving for seafood . The ambience was very comfortable , well lit and spacious. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was very attentive and everything we ordered was delicious my only complaint would be that shrimp in our our seafood bag was slightly overcooked but still delicious none the less. We will definitely be coming back again with friends
