Absolutely love this home store. I have bought many of my key pieces of furniture here and could not be happier with the quality.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FAMILY!!!! They are liars and couldn't tell the truth if their lives depended on it. No follow up. Dishonest!!!!!!! They even set up an address in New York so they can overcharge customers for shipping!!! The owner himself told me when I was in the arroyo grande store yesterday that people from Nipomo order from him and he uses the NY address so he can charge a hefty shipping fee!! They are very dishonest and if you look at their furniture, many pieces have scratches and dents BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! If there is ever anything wrong with their products, they don't care!I am very unhappy with the customer service we have received from Marcela's. We purchased a couch from them that we have taken care of very well, but it has started to fall apart. We are not hard on our furniture. Our kids do not stand or jump on it, we clean regularly, we don't sleep on it for hours at at time, and we never wear shoes in the house so shoes have never gotten near it. A couch should last longer than a few years without the piping breaking and poking through the material, the cushions not holding up at all, and other tears and pulls in the material. We called them multiple times about it. The customer service has been terrible every time. First they ask for pictures of the couch. We take the time to send the pics and never hear anything back. We call them back again later and they say they need to see our receipt. We tell them that we don't have it but ask if they have it on record. (The couch took months to arrive in the first place. They have to have a record of it). They tell us that they keep records but it would be "impossible" to find because they file it by month and year. So we tell them the month and year that we purchased it. They say that they will try and look it up and get back to us. We have never heard anything back from them. For that matter we never heard anything back from them when we were continually waiting for the couch to arrive. I honestly don't know why they wouldn't want to help us to be happy. We are the type that would definitely go back if the service is good and we would tell everyone. It's too bad because now we will tell everyone how bad it is. I would welcome a response to this and an actual solution to the issues we are having with the couch

This store is amazing. My family added our second daughter to the family via adoption. Ernie was our purchasing day salesman absolutely wonderful to deal with. He made us feel like family, took the time to show us all of the quality furniture and decor we needed for the new nursery which was a major success on a time crunch. My wife was over joyed and such a weight off our shoulders. Great prices but best part was the customer service and selection of quality furniture. We were able to take 80% of the items which were a must have that day. The last 20% not in store he ordered which will be in a week or two. This story gets even better gave him some of our home theme, some personal journey quotes or word directly related to us in which they plan to look for from the huge warehouse they have locally. The owner Carlos and other employee Richard were so nice to deal with. They did not just run up like vultures trying to get a fast sale. From Visalia to Fresno California we went into almost 15 other furniture stores looking for the basic items for a nursery and all of the stores we heard "we can't let you take it home today and we have this crib but not a matching changing table but if we order it could take 2 weeks to a month" As they smiled. Then tried to show us the deals they had of cheap furniture but never listened to the basic simple colors white, grey, and standard colors of little girls room have. Ultimately I will say this Marisela home furniture store in Visalia is the place to go FIRST in the Central Valley of California. See for yourself they made our house a home and will forever be a part of our journey.
