The Hot Sour & Spicy Soup...mind-blowing. Definitely well-named, as it is both very sour and very spicy. Just incredible. Service is slow but kind. Chow mein is also the best in the area, at least in my experience. Also - they have decent cold sake and Chinese beer, which are rarities to find in the central part of our beloved Golden State.100% the go-to Chinese cuisine in Exeter.

My favorite Chinese spot! Come from Visalia and is worth the drive, prices are good and the staff is always friendly.

I grew up in Exeter and the mandarin house is one of my favorite places to eat, they treat you like family and the food is delicious

I've been going here since I was a baby with my family. My favorite restaurant on earth and my favorite Chinese restaurant by far. I live in SoCal now, but will arrange a special visit here every time I am up this way.

The service here is great! First time eating in at this nice place hospitality was nice, waitress was nice and always checked up on me. Although the furniture needs some TLC but that's quickly ignored by the nice way you bet treated and of course the amazing food they have.

My son raved about this place when he comes with his friends ...so I thought id give ut a tRY...I came and ordered chicken chow mein, sweet and soxur pork & walnut shrimp.....Chow mein was very flavorful and plenty of sprouts and chicken in it...walnut shrimp was crispy & tender once you bit it...flavor was also perfect...unfortunately I didnt think the same of sweet n sour pok..meat seemed over cooked and dry...I don't know what's going on if they changed cooks or something. ...food isn't what it use 2 be ....

I have been frequenting Mandarin House since I was a kid and have loved it every time. It is a family ran business and they are all super sweet and friendly. My favorite menu item is the almond chicken, yum!

Amazing food! and if you have leftovers it's still just as good when you get home! highly recommend this place! Service was fast and awesome. as well as really good prices!

This is my favorite place to eat so much that I drive from out of town. I get their combination plate and I think their food is great. It's not greasy and tastes fresh to me. The prices are affordable too.
