Mandarin Express

Love eating here whenever I get the opportunity to, the food is always delicious and everyone is so friendly.

Run, DO NOT WALK to the delicious Chinese food spot!!! This place is a hidden gem in East Bakersfield with massive portions, low prices, and amazing flavors! I cannot stress this place enough on how amazing it is. Panda express can't even compare. Went on a Sunday night at 6 and it was a little busy as to be expected for dinner time, everything was so fresh and so flavorful. The portions were MASSIVE, they don't cheap out on their food. While the interior was a little sticky like previous reviewers have mentioned that didn't ruin the experience. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I was hungry for something simple and happened to pass by this restaurant.I decided on some egg rolls, I ended up buying 3!!! I really enjoyed these egg rolls, they weren't too oily, and had a great fill! One thing I will mention is how crunchy they were!! I loved them and will going back for more. For dipping sauces I got the sweet sauce and Sriracha, and they were not stingy with the sauces!!! The restaurant is still a bit old style but that means the food is great!!

Service was good, but imo the food sucked. Tasteless, Too greasy, had to throw out. I had combo b with spicy chicken, chowmein, steam rice and beef with broccoli. Didn't finish any of it, had to throw out. Your gas will smell like rotten eggs too

Service is amazing, young lady is super sweet. Food is filling and noodles are the bomb

My goodness, the portions! You get your money's worth! The food is your standard Chinese-American fast food. They mostly have a variety of chicken dishes though I wish they had more meat selections. I always get the same thing anyway: 3-item combo with coconut shrimp, orange chicken and bbq pork. Save your appetite 'cause this will be enough for your breakfast lunch and dinner. Oh and it's very reasonably priced. I've also converted a number of people from Panda Express lovers to Mandarin Express.

The food here is always delicious and serve HUGE portions! You will never leave hungry, I recommend the Coconut Shrimp with extra coconut cream. Also the Mongolian chicken is really good.

The food has changed it's not longer the same I don't know if they switched out cooks but meats were bland no seasons water down sauces this used to be my go to spot it's sad that's it's changed this much Won't be returning

My favorite Chinese place! So good we even have them cater parties. Big portions! Very nice owner.

Not very good service, just one rude Chinese woman working at the counter. Food was ok, wonton soup and a couple of egg rolls but the bad service (and the sticky table and chairs) means I won't be back . There are better places not far away
