I went here with my family and we got lamb tikka marsala, garlic naan, paneer pokora, lamb vindaloo, and bengan bharta (eggplant dish). I really like the decor of the building as well as the Indian music that played in the background. Chutney came complimentary. The paneer pokora reminded me of tofu and looked like a chicken nugget. The eggplant was very good. The chicken briyani was ok. My biggest issue is that the meat wasn't that tender. The vibdaloo in particular was a bit chewy. However, the flavors of everything was excellent. The naan was not excessively oily. The rice cups (comes with each curry order) are more shallow than they appear to be. An order of curry form here would make a perfect dinner.

Almost gave a two star and they could've gotten a five star however this was my first time eating at this restaurant called in in order to go straight from their website chicken tikka masala, Sri Lankan chicken curry two orders of naan should've been 35 bucks I get there and it was $52 I pay I leave and I start to think about it and doing the math in my head I go back to the website to confirm and yes they overcharged me so I call and they tell me that they have raised their prices and they haven't changed the website he apologized. He was nice about it but nothing other than an apology. I will say the food was good but that's a big difference to go from 35 to 52 and again this menu I ordered from their website.

I drive down the hill I even have driven to Orange County for a good restaurant. There are not many good restaurants here. Malhi is one of the best in the AV. Love their decor and I love the dishes here. I've come during lunch and dinner and I've never been disappointed. Service is great and so is the food.

OMG it was all so perfect. Lentil soup starter was delicious with a fresh coriander finish. The curry chicken was ridiculously tender with the right level of heat and a nice kick of cumin. The daal was very nice as well. I'm glad they were so generous with the naan. Saved me the indignity of licking the plate
