Maddox Denis E MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Maddox for almost 10 years. He is one of the best doctors I have seen as an adult. In fact, several members of my family and a family friend sees Dr. Maddox for care. He is diligent in making sure I am tested on a regular basis, and is always pro-active in my care. In the case of my mother, I honestly believe that she is alive today because of Dr. Maddox's intervention. One of the things that I respect about him is that he has not tried to do everything - instead, he has had a colleague implant her pacemaker, and another colleague install the stent. He explains that those colleagues perform those procedures almost daily, so they are the better choice. Certainly, both procedures went flawlessly and she's doing well. Dr. Maddox is very low-key and quiet, which compared with other doctors I've had is actually refreshing. He's not cocky, pretentious, or over-confident - and that is one of the reasons why I appreciate him so much. Plus, the staff at the office, including his nurse assistant, is really good to work with.
