Place is small, not nosey at all. I did like that they had 3 different salsa for your chips. I ordered a caldo de res and it had only one piece of meat, 2 carrots a piece of cabbage and a corn. It does come with homemade corn tortillas so that was a plus. The flavor was ok, just added a bit more salt. The service wasn't the greatest but I've had worse. Over all it was an ok place, would i return? To be honest, no I would not. This was a one place wonder for me.

That Salsa Verde is Spicy! I love it! I didn't get to experience the service at the restaurant but the take out service was very nice! They made sure to give utensils and napkins, so plus side for that. Now for what I ate from here.I got an Asada Wet Burrito topped with Salsa Verde. The burrito itself looked really nice, the overall flavor was good; not great. Something about the Asada itself, just didn't really do it for me personally. It was shredded and sliced at the same time in different parts of the burrito, but it all tasted the same; plain. They made a pretty hefty burrito! So points for that! The show stopper here was the Salsa Verde on top! The sauce I topped my burrito with was the salsa verde, but they also do red sauce if you choose. Their was beautiful soft and meaty pieces of Chile verde meat on top and the sides of the burrito, that meat was waaaayyyyy better than the asada. So go for that meat choice instead! The salsa verde is spicy! Great heat and flavor to it! Pro Tip: order a side of salsa verde to go with your burrito. It tends to get dry after your first few bites, so keep an extra side of sauce for topping and dipping! The cost of the burrito is $13.99 and I do feel it is worth the price. I would definitely come back and try out another burrito, but next time with a different meat. I would even be so keen on trying one of the Tortas they have on the menu. Come check this place out if you're in Visalia and looking for another Mexican Restaurant to try out! They have a very nice sized menu with plenty of stuff for Everyone!

I was bummed out because i looked online at the menu before going. I wanted a Caldo De Camaron, and they told me they didn't have it. I got the Birria plate. The food had good flavor. But it took time for it to come out. The server was nice, after bring out the food, she really didn't check on us anymore. The Michelada was good. Chips and salsa were good, and I thought it was cool that they brought out 3 different sauces.

Food was delicious! Tacos with handmade corn tortillas was amazing . Rice and beans were good .. beans were fresh. The Chile/salsa for the tacos were very flavorful and had a kick . Was impressed. The only thing I personally didn't care for was the table salsa. Even though I can tell they added fresh ingredients.. the tomatoes I can tell were can tomatoes with sweetness... just not my personal thing .. but everything else was delicious. Will be back.

I had stumbled upon this place and decided to go inside. Ordered the menudo and a carne asada sope. And I must say the broth was so flavorful and adding the chili oil just made it that much better. The sope was huge and the meat was very flavorful as well. The restaurant itself was very clean and since it was early, it was very quiet. The owner was very helpful and service was immaculate. Will definitely be going back soon!!

This is a simple, family-owned business with good quality food. What stood out to us was the service. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, which we always hesitate to do, but we didn't see a whole lot of other options in Visalia on a weeknight. We're glad we ended up at Lupita's. There was no bad attitude at all from the server or staff, only a warm welcome and genuine friendliness. They took good care of us, and it's clear they care about and take pride in their business.

Want to wait ? Then this is the place to go. We were the only customers and still took an hour for our food. Idk what is going on with the owner and the waitress but they are definitely not on the same page. Cooks needed !! Food is ok but definitely not worth this wait.

Omg! If you are looking for a authentic delicious plate with fresh ingredients you need to stop by Lupitas. I've eaten at other Mexican restaurants and this one by far is the most flavorful, fresh food I've tasted in a long time and i eat out 4-5 times a week. Thank you to the owner. She came out and gets us personally. John customer service was exceptional. Thank you. I love to support family run businesses. #familybusiness #hotfreshfood, #smallbusiness

This place has been closed for several months. The new restaurant is a Sushi / Mexican combo. How stupid can a concept be.
