Lucky Star Chinese Restaurant

This has been my favorite Chinese food in town but it's the worst customer service. It's always the same woman and she's always rude like she's mad that you're there. I've been a loyal customer for years, I go at least a few times a month, but I'm over it. I'm going to find somewhere else to go.

Every time my family orders from here it is delicious. Service is fast, quality of food is good not greasy at all.My kids love the chow mein & orange chicken here. Definitely recommend for a local place.

Food is great! Had the Dinner #2 Combo & Sliced BBQ Pork. Egg Rolls & Chop Suey. Good amount of food provided.

The food was very good. I had the wor wonton soup and potstickers. Both were wonderful. Well done luck star!

If you're expecting Ambiance it's not there. I'm think at some time way back it could have been.I've read other reviews about the woman who is rude, well the probably five times I've been there she hasn't been rude to us, but she doesn't have a Welcoming vibe either.As for the food, hmm I now have mix views. The first few time I have been there I would say excellent food. Great flavor, not greasy. Now, I still feel it's not greasy, it's prepared quite timely and it is just "good" not great. But for the size of Tulare I would say that's why its residents go there because it's not bad.If you plan to dine there call them ahead of time and ask them to put the air on.One other thing I don't like in any restaurant, is the cooks using the dining room as a prep area. I feel that is something that should behind a wall. I was told it is a place for take out more than dining in. When we were there we were the only family eating.

Uhhh..I just came in to pick up somebody's else order....and I'm grossed out! It is sooooo dirty in here. Empty boxes as to the side as you walk in, the dining area on one side is full of household stuff, it's like as if the employees sleep here. Light fixtures are really really dirty. Glad I've never eaten here.

Okay yall. I came here today since I was passing the Tulare area and I haven't came across a decent Chinese food place since being up in the Central Valley. Don't you dare refer me to the Chinese food place inside the RN market in Visalia! Okay anyways I looked up this place on Yelp and all the comments said they food was good and big portions but the customer service is super horrible. They describe an older lady who is rude. I thought to myself if the food is really that banging I don't care how rude homegirl might be. Yelp y'all didn't lie, she was rude. Terrible customer service skills but I thought maybe she just tired. All day cooking food you know. So I didn't pay any mind to her attitude didn't need her spitting in my food lol. Ordered 3 combos which was like the basics chow mein rice orange chicken beef broccoli plus some cream cheese Rangoon's. Love me some of them hos. Total Came out to like 30$ the cream cheese ragoons was pricey ! And def not worth it. I don't even think I finished the Ragoons.The food was decent. Yes decent. Not good not nasty just okay. I was hoping to call this place my go to for the noodles but nah. Not even close. Homegirl better change her tune now serving that mediocre Chinese food. Sheesh!

It was a Quick order and pick up! My boys don't like Chinese cuisine but they asked for a bit of it!

Lucky Star gives me mixed feelings because the lady is rude no matter what and the environment is a bit odd with the boxes everywhere and empty soda cans in a bag cause they don't use fountain and it is very hot in there always but other than all of that I think the food is awesome I do wish they would fill the bowls of soup up more but still very tasty and the egg foo young is the best I've ever had in my life the rice and chow mein is so firee so at the end of the day the food is fireee the service and environment is not good and my rating is only based on the food but if I was to give the service a review it would be 1 or 2 stars.

Bad service and bad environment. Floors are really dirty, speakers don't work so it's super quiet. But hey, the food is FIRE
