Los Taqueiros

This taco truck tucked away next to the IN-N-Out on Panama was recommended by some colleagues, and it did not disappoint. I knew it would be good when I saw how long the line was at 10:00 PM on a cold weeknight. Their menu is surprisingly large for a taco truck and even more impressive considering the main draw is the freshly made tortillas. This definitely adds to the wait time, as I waited about 20 minutes before getting my food. But as expected, the homemade tortillas made a huge difference in texture and consistency. I ordered a carne asada burrito and a single chorizo taco. I ate the taco first and wasn't happy with the size: I finished it in not even two bites. But was it tasty? Certainly. The meat was well-seasoned and cooked just right. And the freshness of the cilantro and onions were spot on. Was it worth $3.50 (or $1.75 per bite)? No. But now I know to just get the burrito which was likely the best taco truck burrito I've had in a long time. The tortilla tied the carne asada and salsa all together harmoniously. And the portion was decent sized. I'm definitely coming back to try their other menu items - but not the microscopic tacos however.

Best Quesabirra tacos in town, love the sides the include. The lady who took my order was very sweet, but I had ordered an extra side of rice and didn't receive it.
