Los Guisados

Coworker and I went and tried this place out. Food was great! I ordered the Steak Alambres and he ordered the steak Salsa Verde Y Papas with rice and beans. Both dishes came with fresh home made tortillas. Service was fast and he even brought the dishes to our table. The seating is open and he has a canopy up to provide shade while you dine in.

Handmade tortillas..... need I say any more? Favor is 10/10 for sure. Definitely an underrated spot, best tacos on this side of town for sure. Took about 5 minutes to get my order. Ordered a quesadilla as well and it was HUGE.

I've been here a couple times now the service is great and the food is delicious. I ordered the al pastor burrito which comes with rice beans pico de gallo and guacamole. This is the best Al pastor I've had in Bakersfield. It's so flavorful and goes great in this burrito. The next time I'll try something different hopefully but I'm pretty hooked on the burrito, I even had to get my 5 year old her own! There's plenty of seating and unfortunately I ate my burrito so fast I forgot to take a picture. But can't wait to come back

Saw this place while driving by and decided to stop and try it out. According to the owner, he moved the truck location from the east side of town here. It's not your traditional taco truck, here they have guisados (stews), tacos and burritos. I got 2 tacos de asada and 2 tacos de pollo. I have to be honest, I didn't like my tacos. The chicken was dry and bland and the carne asada tacos had to much of a lime taste for me. I probably won't be going back to this place again.

The food was really delicious! Got this entire plate and two drinks with a side of rice and beans for $29. This easily fed two and left us with a little extra left over after the meal. The hospitality and service was beyond amazing. They were so nice and wanted to make sure our visit was really homey. Definitely will be back. They have the Mexican food most places don't have & are very authentic. The only complaint I have for the entire place was the music was a little loud when ordering but wasn't too much when we started to eat!

I was doing errands and on my way home, I was so hungry! So I stopped at Los Guisados. I got a steak fajita salad. SOOOO GOOD. I always drive past this truck on my way to somewhere, but you can bet I'll be stopping every time I'm hungry now!!! It's at Brimhall & Coffee, at the Chevron station. Why was the salad so good? Think a huge fajitas, all stacked on a beautiful salad. I can't wait to get home and start eating for real, instead of just picking at it!!

Sad I passed by earlier in the day and was looking forward to going once my husband got off. It said they closed at 7:30 but was closed when I stopped by at 6:00. Looks amazing will try again earlier in the day. Hopefully they update hours more often.

AMAZING FOOD!! The tortillas were handmade so you already know the rest of the food tastes so authentic. Everything tasted fresh and straight out of your mexican grandmas house haha. The service was great! The food came out pretty quick and the owner even gave us 2 courtesy tacos of picadillo. I had 2 birria tacos with rice and beans and everything was delicious! The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion of the meal. 10/10 definitely recommend eating here!!

Great food. The service is fast and personalized. The ambiance is great with authentic twist to it. I love that the tortillas are handmade. It makes a difference.
