One word... FAJITAS! They are out of this world fire here. They come out sizzling with all the goods: chicken, steak, shrimp, bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions. The marinade is a spice of perfection. I live in Texas now and crave California mexican fajitas like this. They have stellar chips, salsa and guac too! And, apparently a margarita that will light up your eyes. At least, it did for my mama haha ;D Going back?Yes! Luckily, my mama is a regular here. She has made friends with all the staff who are excellent and loves the lowkey good vibes atmosphere. So whenever I'm in town, I'm sure we'll make our way in!

Warm Mexican vibe from inside and out. The service was good. All staff had positive attitudes. As for the food... I ordered the French toast with eggs and bacon. The French toast were not good, it seemed like they dipped them in butter and just served them. My dad ordered the menudo, which has a nice color to it and he said that it was "ok". My mom ordered an asada torta which looked pretty appetizing. She said that the meat tasted a bit weird. I tried it and it has similar spices to Taco Bell food. My brother ordered an asada burrito and he also said that the asada tasted weird. The ambience and staff were good. I just give it 2 stars because of the food, it could've been better for being a Mexican restaurant. They also have a bar, I got a peak at it and it looked like it had a nice ambiance to it. I would not come back just because the food did not meet my expectations.

I love coming here because of the employees and the bartenders know their drinks. They don't shy away from making a good drink. The ambiance is great if you're into Hispanic culture. I love the way they are attentive and welcoming. It's a happy cantina restaurant vibe. Sports are playing on the tv screens all the time.

This is a small casual neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I was seated immediately and my server approached me quickly and brought their spicy roasted salsa & crunchy house made chips. My meal arrived quickly. I ordered a Chili relleno and cheese enchilada ala carte with the ranchero sauce on my enchilada as well. The sauce was very good. My chili relleno was light and fluffy with very generous cheese inside. The enchilada was cheesy & gooey. Classic rock was playing in the background. They have a small full bar with a TV. The crowd looked friendly although I didn't sit in the bar. Good local restaurant for tasty Mexican food.

My first visit to Los Aguacates was good, the waiter and owner were kind and helpful to us. I picked the fajitas and they did not disappoint. The beef and chicken fajitas were tender, not the tough grizzly texture other restaurants offer because of the cheap meat or inability to cook correctly. Lots of veggies too, others skimp but not them. Hot chips were and fresh flavorful salsa. A local family restaurant that cares about diners experience is nice.

Good food. Good prices. Friendly service. I just wish it was closer to my house. I had chile verde, could be spicier. My wife had sopes, she said they were good. My mom had costillas, she liked them too.
