Little Italy

We were so pleased with our choice of Little Italy! The atmosphere was beautiful. Our waitress was very personable and efficient. The food was top notch and the portions were huge! The dip for the bread was Amazing! The owner came over and introduced himself. We will be regulars here for sure!

I had dinner last night at Little Italy. The reason I give 3 stars and not less is because of all the gentlemen that helped us last night. All the guys that helped us were so polite and very helpful. It was the food that was not great!The bread was ok, and whatever side they served with the bread was not my cup of tea. The fettuccine Alfredos were kind of soggy and over salted, as was the shrimps. And maybe this place always serves the shrimp with the tail, so I have to remove it, but I didn't like that. The spighetti was ok. So for the price of our dinner, my family and I were a bit disappointed. I wanted to try a new place I'd never been to for Italian food, and coming here to Little Italy made me regret trying new places. Olive Garden is still my favorite. I'm certain I won't return to Little Italy.

This was a very disappointing dining experience. First of all, pretty pricey for what you get. Our calamari appetizer was literally inedible. It was like trying to eat a giant eraser. They took it off the bill since we had to send it back. The rest of the food was... Fine. Nothing great, nothing terrible.

The ambiance, with its charming brick walls and inviting atmosphere, immediately set the stage for an unforgettable evening. This delightful spot not only captures the essence of Italian dining but elevates it to a truly enrapturing experience.Our evening was brilliantly orchestrated by Dakota, our fabulous waiter, whose recommendations were nothing short of divine. We indulged in the short rib ravioli and the barramundi with capers and artichokes--both dishes were exceptional. The calamari, a classic favorite, was perfectly executed and simply bomb!Opting for two of the specials and sharing our dishes was a decision that added a layer of communal joy to our meal. The portions were generous enough that we needed to-go boxes, which was perfect since we were staying for a couple of nights and had busy days ahead. These leftovers provided a delicious reprise of our experience.As we were leaving, I had the honor of meeting the owner, a kind and gracious gentleman who clearly pours his heart into this establishment. His warmth added a personal touch to our visit.Little Italy is perfect for a family gathering or a romantic dinner. Sharing dishes, a practice I cherish at Italian spots, is highly recommended here. It allows you to savor a variety of flavors and discover your favorites for your next visit.Little Italy offers more than just a meal; it's a journey through flavors and atmosphere. This little gem is tucked in one of my favorite shopping centers with all these amazing restaurants. When I walked in, couldn't help but feel that ambiance - it has this intimate atmosphere, perfect for small group dinners or date nights. Food was delicious, service was nice. A single serving is good enough for sharing. Wouldn't mind going back here, maybe dress up a little bit less casually next time.

Slow quiet cool jazz plays in the background to patrons chatting happily enjoying some of the best food in Bakersfield. This elegant restaurant is a great place for friends and family to meet. A romantic place for a cozy date night. They can accommodate larger groups Chase and Dakota were serving this evening. Both were so pleasant and attentive. I ordered the Linguine with white clam sauce. They serve a very generous portion. The linguine was perfectly aldente, the sauce rich and flavorful with a generous serving of fresh clams in the shell. I've always had excellent food and service here. Little Italy never disappoints!

This is such a fantastic place - the food the service everything! Owner is a sweetheart. We highly recommend this gem. You can order anything off the menu or specials board and will never be disappointed! 5 stars!

Went for just the second time and can't believe we don't come here more often! This will be one of our new go to restaurants here in town. Great drinks, amazing cheesy bruschetta appetizer and a perfect lamb shank pasta! Can't wait to go back!

I like the ambiance. It is quiet and intimate. When you don't want a loud restaurant, this is your place. The service is great. I had a special with fish and I really didn't know what I ordered but I loved it and ate every bit of it. My wife had cappelinni pomodoro which was tasty. I can't remember what my daughter ordered but she liked t and took some of it home to finish later.
