Linda's Cakes 'N Things

Linda made a white cake with buttercream frosting for my mother's wedding. It was some of the best wedding cake ever. I especially loved the frosting. There was the perfect proportion of cake to frosting. The cake was beautiful.

Oh my gosh just seen the cake Linda made for my daughter's baby shower, besides being so awesomely cool it tasted so good too. Thank you LindaIts the one with the owls on it.

We used Linda for our June 20th wedding. We did a small cake and 96 cupcakes (4 flavored total). Let me just say that there was only 1 cupcake left at the end of the night:) Linda is amazing and so easy to work with and provided exactly what we were looking for even with minimal direction from me:) Cupcakes were delicious and presentation was perfect. We highly recommend Linda!:)

My family and I are new to the Bear Valley Springs/Tehachapi area, and needed someone to make cakes for my twins 4th birthday. I just happened to find Linda's Cakes N Things on the Bear Valley Springs website, so my husband and I met up with her and I showed her pictures of what I wanted. Fast forward to yesterday, my husband went to go and pick up the cakes.....OMG I couldn't be happier the cakes are absolutely beautiful, delicious, and her prices are GREAT!!! Linda forever has my business, and my kids were so excited and happy.

Unfortunately, our experience was not as pleasing as the rest of these reviews. If you are a bride, run!! First, she set up the cake and sneaked out the door. When I went out to look at it, it resembled the Leaning Tower of Piza! The scroll work was very poorly done. A noticeable black smudge was directly on the front.Linda did come back to fix the cake, but again sneaked out the back door right before the wedding was to start. Final results, the cake was left in the kitchen sitting on an ugly glass platter still slightly crooked, smudge still there.The cake was not what we ordered and the taste was marginal at best. We did receive our money back, but it was still a major disappointment.

Linda can do it all! I already knew she could bake fantastic cakes, and create unique cupcakes. Last time, my boyfriend and I had the opportunity to taste some of her macaroons (French pastry). They were just so delicious! I would highly recommend Linda to anybody dying to get a scrumptious treat.

I ordered a birthday cake from Linda and had a fantastic experience. The ordering process was a breeze, the cake was ready comfortably on time and it was delicious! Everybody in our birthday party loved it. Strongly recommended!
