Leeka's Rib Crib

I hate to leave 3 stars but I gotta be honest..The chicken leg was very overcooked and dry but the wing wasnt dry. All I had to start was the leg however when I cut up the thigh it was kind of juicy.The sauce was on the bottom of the chicken in the container so it did not cover the chicken the way I thought it would, with it being barbecue chicken and all. The baked beans however 5 stars, the beans were really good. The macaroni and cheese was OK. I did get the peach cobbler which was amazing. They have chicken sausage on the menu so I will give this place another try with the chicken sausage.

Get there early because they ran out of the tri-tip. The owner is super nice barbecue is amazing and in the winter they even have gumbo highly recommended.

Food is okay.Service is good.Ambiance is good.Place is good.Looks brand new.They need to have more improvement with the seasoning with their food.First time vsiiing.We were disappointed, the brisket was not avialable.

This is the Best BBQ I've had so far. The greens where delicious and the brisket what so soft it's melted in your mouth. I'm very pleased with are food . Took picture of the left overs .

Friendly place. They can improve on a few things.Good portion or ribs, the ribs are big so 5 stars in that. The ribs are well seasoned and rubbed well, however they taste like they've been left on the bbq too long or the smoke of the charcoal bbq has infiltrated the meat. The rub tastes good, the sauce is hella good but then the Smokey bbq is overpowering the meat. The chicken, kind of dry but seasoned well. The mac and cheese are delicious, however I can tell they were microwaved and not fresh, because a few chunks of it were still in chunks, verses new Mac and cheese you don't get clumps stuck together.The baked beans, some parts were cold ish and some warm, so I'm thinking it was microwaved?? Unsure but again, great tasting. If they can get their foods to be fresher they'd make a killing. We will be back because it does taste good, just a few improvements needed.

Service was good, accommodating for a last minute walk-in. However the food was not great. Ribs were extra smoked, approaching bitter, the sauce was ok. Baked beans were ok, felt like some canned beans with ground meat and green peppers added. Mac was ok, nothing special, a little sour. Greens were super bitter and sour, didn't taste seasoned. Links were ok, just a little gritty.

Someone at the salon recommended this spot so I decided to sample it before heading back to L.A. Bought one of their homemade beef link sandwiches. It was so good. Had to turn around and go back to purchase a whole slab. OMG! From now one, every trip to Lancaster will require a stop at Leeka's

Now yall know I had to hit this review with a fresh 5 stars because the FOOD IS BUSSIN! I haven't had anything this good in a really long time my sister and I got really curious because we wanted some ribs or some sort of soul food and came across this place on Yelp. Immediately fell in love the moment I tasted it. The flavors are there for sure. I will say I was dissatisfied because the meals are supposed to come with Bread and two sauces on the side and we didn't receive that at all but it's not a big deal. Now that peach cobbler has me in a choke hold forreal! I didn't get it but my sister did and so I tried it and omg I fell in love immediately! When I tell you I'm going back for more I mean it. I'm not understanding why it was so slow and the business was empty ! I definitely think they need more recognition! It was quiet but we got our food in a timely manner. I definitely appreciate the service and quality.

Great Service, great food. I ordered Dinner plate with 4 ribs, collard greens, and macaroni & cheese. Two slices of white bread. I loved it. Love the portion size. Very flavorful. I will definitely come back for more. Two thumbs up!!

I'm on the quest to find great BBQ in California so far the quest isn't good. But the service was fast which was fantastic because I was on a time limit. Staff was friendly place looked clean. Takeout only. The ribs were cooked a tad too long and I wished I got the sauce on the side I felt it was oily. But I will give them another try. I need to try the other meat items before I give up my quest
