I had a car alert pop up on the grapevine. I immediately exited and found the closest shop. I explained the alert on the car and Jeff told me exactly what I needed to do to get home safely. He was so kind to my dog and I. I was so worried about not making it home on time and with his advice, we made it home safe and sound. If I had a car issue, I know I can come here for an honest opinion.

Jeff is an honest, straight to the point kinda mechanic who does not do work that is not needed. He'll give it to you as it is and help you make the right decisions about your vehicle. If he can't solve or repair your problem, he'll know someone who is capable of doing what is needed in the area. I've known him and used him for over 2 decades. He's also pretty quick to get your repair completed.

I've been going to Jeff at Le Bec Auto since I moved up to the mountain 10 years ago. He's always helped us he's kind honest fairly priced and I would recommend him to everybody.

Really outstanding, honest, service. We have found our new mechanic and we are so happy Lebec Auto was recommenced to us. My husband and I both had work done to our vehicles and left with a good idea of upcoming work we should expect for maintaining our vehicles. No surprises, just good honest work in a timely fashion. We really appreciate having someone we trust!

Wade!!!!!! SAVED OUR LIVES.... I'm not being dramatic at all....Just before the grapevine our 38 ft motorhome broke down. In a panic we called multiple truck companies in the area and no one wanted to help. In fact it was recommended that we call someone back in Bakersfield.While on the phone with insurance and roadside we googled other areas and took a chance by calling these guys. We figured we would get another no way, but someone was dispatched out to us in less than an hour. Temps were hot, our generator isn't the best, bugs everywhere and we were even going camping so we had one hydro flask of water.Wade got under the bed, where the engine is located, and we all kind of gasped. The muffler wasn't attached to the motor and it was clear we had a big issue. Wade let us know our brake line was melted from the engine overheating, from the exhaust break. He said we were pretty lucky the whole darn thing hadn't caught on fire.Knowing a parts store was miles away we figured we were stuck there for at least a day. Wade did his thing took off with our broken part and let us know he would take it home, retrofit it with his own welding skills and be back to get us going.As dollar signs fly past our eyes we thought all was lost. The trip was certainly ruined.... NOPEOur road angel Wade came back and fixed everything we needed to get running and more. He left us better off than when we started out. New break lines, new welded muffler, wrapped the muffler in Kevlar tape, fixed an electrical issue that was also nearby.... and we didn't have to take out any small personal loans! The kicker, he knew we had been stranded for quite some time and upon he return he brought us burritos because he knew we would be starving. WHAT A GUY!If we were ever in the area again this would be our spot. Cannot recommend them enough and cannot say enough good things about our new friend Wade. You really saved the day and our whole trip!

A lucky visit to an honest repair shop. Had issues my the push rod in the engine and they were l straight forward and honest all the way through , gave me updates on my service and although they could not complete the work, they referred me to an alternate repair shop close byThank you Angeleno stranded in Lebec

Hands down best auto shop on the hill! Jeff is an honest hard working guy that won't charros you an arm and a leg for something you don't need. If you take your car here you'll be in good hands ;)

Jeff and Chris were life savers when my Honda started acting up - heading up the grapevine. They took immediate action and fixed my vehicle in one hour. We were two women headed to So Cal. We so appreciated their prompt action and their honesty. I would very much recommend this business

Really knowledgeable and super helpful guys -- thought we had a fuel pump issue (which would leave us stranded far from home), but since the gas tank sounded hollow when they thumped on it, they thought maybe our gas gauge was faulty and we were out of gas. One of the guys drove to town and brought back 5 gallons, and voila! Many thanks for a thorough and insightful diagnosis, saving us untold time and expense!Donna W.

I had a breakdown on my cargo van - blown wheel bearing on the front driver's side - when traveling north from LA to southern Oregon, where we live. We called Jeff on the recommendation of the friend in the area we were visiting. He took the vehicle right in, took a look and determined the issues. Was very responsive and continued to give me updates. Within two days in this relatively rural area, he had the repair completed and at a price probably half what it would've been at a dealer. A nice guy who does NOT take advantage of customers in desperate need. I hope I never have to go back but if, somehow I do, I'd have zero hesitation.
