My girlfriend and I came to celebrate her birthday here and it was everything I could have asked for, from an amazing atmosphere and ambience to the food being delicious and then some. Our server Ruth never left us waiting on any refills or orders and Jessie was constantly at our side asking if we could use anything else. An overall awesome spot for a fancy date night or special occasion, and personally my new favorite place to eat in scv!

Our first time to Le Chen for lunch. It was absolutely amazing. The four entrées we all ordered were salmon, filet mignon, pork chop, and the strawberry chicken. Each of these entrées were the best I've ever tasted, and the service was amazing to boot. I suggested they change their name to cotton candy because everything melted in my mouth. The owners Juan and Claudia are there to greet you as you walk in and come to the table to make sure everything is OK. It's an amazing family oriented top of the line restaurant. I highly suggest you go.

Stopped by for dinner as we've heard really nice things about this place. We didn't have an appointment but it was early enough so it wouldn't be a problem getting a table. Got seated right along the window overlooking into the garden patio area. View is quite nice and serene which makes it for a nice meal. The service was great. Our waitress was very informative in the menu and what was offered. Menu was quite impressive with all the French favorites. There was something for everyone which is great. Also the wine list was quite impressive as well. The French onion slick was great, and plenty of cheese which was the cream on top. Seafood pasta was nice with plenty of chunks of seafood and I believe the pasta was homemade. The beef bourguignon was very flavorful. Plenty chunks of meat. Also the steak was great, cooked perfectly and paired nicely with the condiments. Also had the soufflé which does take a while to prepare.Food was great, service was nice and dinner was a nice experience.

Wry few Resturant's in Santa Clarita are as much unique as LeChene. You will find a fairly priced wine list of some vintage wines that are to find. The stone building is surrounded by gardens and a vineyard. This French restaurant serves duck bore frog legs snails beef buffalo in a variety of French sauces. If you want a chocolate soufflé order when you order your meal. I enjoyed a New York steak escargot a salad and sides. This restaurant has been written up in Eatter for its wines. The location has been in many films. After your meal spend some time walking the gardens and vineyards.

I really wanted to like this place! I love French food, and when we lived in NYC, we had a couple places that we would frequent often. We just moved back to SoCal and wanted to try this 'neighborhood gem'. Well, I couldn't identify the 'scallops' that were in my scallop dish. They were breaded! And overcooked! Inedible! My husband ordered the chicken champagne and the chicken was dry and there was a ton of sauce, which according to him, was almost flavorless. The vegetables were cooked to the point of mush. The wine list for an individual glass of wine was sorely lacking, with bottom shelf wines that cost $10 or less at the local store. No high end wines unless you bought the bottle. The only thing that was good about this place was the service, although we were one of only 2 couples in the entire place. Perhaps that should have been a sign! I hate writing bad reviews, especially for restaurants because I know how difficult it is to keep one profitable in todays climate and I always give places 2nd, sometimes 3rd chances but I fear this place doesn't understand the concept of authentic French food, which is why I most likely won't be back. Perhaps it was just a bad night and we could try a different dish next time? We shall see...

Our family has been eating at LeChene's for several years. It's family owned and operated and everything's always delicious. Tonight we had filet mignon aupoivre, tenderloin tips, osso buco and a chicken pasta dish. Each entree came with soup (cream of mushroom) or salad (caesar or tossed green). We had leftovers, as the portions are very generous. And, oh how tender and delicious our meals were. They sat us at our favorite round table, as requested and brought a delicious strawberry cake for my granddaughter's Bday. They have beautiful art and a lovely patio and is overall very romantic. Our servers were all great, including the happy hour bartender. She was a great conversationalist. I didn't take any food photos, but a couple of the entrance and patio. I hope they post.

Got soft shell crab as an appetizer, very odd taste. Probably like a crab that sat in a bucket of water for a few hours doused in 1/10 packet of gravy powder. Wife got French onion soup - that was great. I ordered the Black Angus Ribeye and got the mushroom soup to go with it. Mushroom soup looked like vomit and was gross. Ribeye was great at least. Wife got a broccoli chicken pasta, which looked like something that'd be served at Panda Express, just 10x more expensive. Bottom line - this place is way too expensive for the quality/ taste of food they serve. Overhyped.

An Exceptional Hidden Gem!What an unexpected find off the beaten path! The warm welcome is just the beginning of an extraordinary experience. The worldly cuisine, extensive wine list, and stunning landscape make you feel as though you are far away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Juan's charisma and class shine through as he shares his global knowledge and experiences. Dining here feels like being among friends, as Juan treats everyone like family. For lovers of great food and wine, this is a must-visit. 10/10 - you will not be disappointed!
