It may sound weird that I'm recommending a seafood TRUCK but believe me, this place is no joke! DELICIOUS. Truck menu is short and simple, everything from oysters, ceviche to aguachilles and more. My personal favorite is the aguachilles, I've been coming here for over a year, I'm a regular and when they see my car pull up my item is made fresh and quick! Huge portions, and you'll leave full and satisfied!

Best Mariscos in town. You can order a michelada mix, oysters, ceviche and my personal favorite...aguachiles. Best aguachiles I've ever had.

I had the aguachiles because I had heard that they were the best in Bakersfield. They were good but not the best that I have ever had but definitely worth the drive and the wait.

Best Mariscos in town. Shrimp Empanadas are delicious. You won't find better Aguaschilles anywhere else in Bakersfield. Food tastes fresh and portions are big. It gets busy on Sundays so get there early. Highly recommended.

This is hands down the BEST marisco's I've ever had. This is a must have for Bakersfield. It's cash only so make sure to hit up the ATM before going. Also they sell the mix for a fantastic preparada but you have to bring your own beer as they don't have a liquor license. Luckily there's a tienda right across the street that sells beer. I always get the agua chiles or a campachana. Their proportions are huuuuge and they aren't stengy with the tostadas and saltines. Also if you're iffy about eating ceviche style cooked seafood you can get the shrimp boiled first. But honestly the only real way to eat agua chiles is cooked in the lime juice, soooo good. If I could give this place 7 stars I would

THIS IS FOR THE NEWLY OPENED RESTAURANT AT 300 OakI have said in the past that one of the Mexican restaurants I ate in was the worst I had ever eaten in but this one is the worst of ANY restaurant I have eaten in.We saw Pete Tittl's wonderful write up re this establishment so we thought we would give it a try. We arrived at 11:20 for lunch. When we walked in the door a server behind the register told us to go ahead and seat ourselves so we did. Twenty minutes later we had not been approached yet so I got up looking for someone to service our table. The same server who appeared to be working alone came to our table bringing one menu. Apparently you must share menus. About ten minutes later he came back and asked us if we were ready to order. He still had not taken our drink order so Donna asked for water and I asked for an 805 plus water. Fifteen minutes later he came with one glass of water and my 805. Donna ordered the crab tostada and I ordered the tostada mixta. At least 20 minutes later he brought out two tostadas one with fake crab and nothing else and the other with a very thin layer of ceviche topped with fake crab, four very thin slices of octopus and four uncleaned (NON deveined) shrimp.EVERYTHING BUT THE SALSA WAS DISGUSTING.When I left my food mostly untouched we finally went to the register to pay the bill and complain about the food. After telling the woman at the register how bad everything was and the fact that the shrimp were not cleaned, she said "that is the way shrimp are served in Mexico"Having lived in Mexico for ten years I politely told her that is NOT the way shrimp are served there and she said nothing. Now if we were the only patrons being fed this disgusting food and atrocious service, it would be one thing but EVERY customer that came in was experiencing the same.DISGUSTING AWFUL SERVICE AND FOOD.THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD BE CLOSED.
