Carne Asada Torta. Delicious. Indifferent about the red salsa but that's the only complaint I have.

They were not at the Shell on Panama but at the Shell off the 99. We were about to get on the road so we decided to try it instead of stopping at a fast food place along the way. I DO NOT REGRET it. The food is flavorful and fresh. I am very picky about my Mexican food but their food is very authentic. The beans even had great flavor. The lemons were nice and fresh, the chiles en vinagre even looked like they were homemade. I base this on the large carrots. The onions were nice and crispy. Really good carne asada. And very reasonable price. The ONLY thing I can say I wasn't a fan of was the red salsa.Definitely is on the top of my list for Mexican food, even if I have to drive out of my way.

Not bad!Good for late night eats.It was a Fri night and we thought they closed at 10pm but people just kept coming up to the truck as we ate and they were fed!We tried a lot of things between 6 of us.The tripe was NOT a fave. Texture. The guys working said that the beef burrito was the best seller so I got that. It was pretty good and I got to eat the other half of it later. It was a decent size and came with a few chips with refried beans on them. I liked the included lemon. No lime though? For me, lime is best. Greatest thing is that my sensitive stomach felt fine afterwards. The salsa was good.Service was ok. The food did not take too long to come out.Points lost for not having any kind of garbage can nearby. Weird. And very limited seating but I mean, we are in a gas station parking lot. For the food, we all agreed everything needed seasoning so it could have been a lot more flavorful even if a bit more salt had been added. One said that the chorizo needed more spicy heat.Would for sure return. I had been there over 4 years ago and it was good then too. A consistent 3 star spot.

Best and ONLY tacos I'll stop for in Bakersfield! Unfortunately they were out of Asada today but their Chorizo was enough to fulfill my cravings! If you haven't tried these tacs, you gotta! Me and my friends randomly took that Panama Lane exit one day and stumbled upon this gem and have been stopping here since (if we travel this way)!

A couple of weeks ago, I was faced with a decision while driving on Panama Lane. Which food truck do I try tonight. El Taco Loco food truck or Las Adelitas parked across the street. Decided to go with the least popular which is Las Adelitas. We drove up to find we were the only customers so no line! Later on as we ate our tacos in our car several other vehicles dropped by to make their purchases. After browsing the menu and speaking to the nice lady in our broken Spanish, we chose to try 4 different tacos. Lengua and Cabeza tacos were my wife's order. My picks were the Carne Asada and the Al Pastor tacos. The first thing that we noticed when we bit into our respective tacos was that the tortillas had a nice crunch to them. It was just enough to make the tacos taste even better than normal. The meats were not greasy like a lot of other taco places, and at $1.25 each a very fair price. My tacos with everything on it were delicious, and the green sauce added to my asada taco had a good kick to it. Wifey said her tacos were really yummy also.Las Adelitas food truck/trailer is pretty darn good. I recommend that you try them and decide for yourself!

I had three tacos at my lunch and it was ok. But I didn't like my chicken taco. The place where is the truck is not so inviting. Their prices are are cheap but they don't take credit cards.

Food was OK taste wise. Pretty fast service. Perhaps it was too fast as towards the end of my burrito I but into a huge staple. Definitely not worth the risk of serious damage. Will not visit again.

I came here two weeks ago on a whim, and to my surprise the carne asada tacos were outstanding. My hubby stopped by a few days ago to pick us up some tacos and had a less than impressive experience. My top two foodie pet peeves are: #1 Getting my order wrong. Especially take-out. Who wants to drive back? #2 When food is just thrown together, whether it be because they are closing soon, it's happy hour and they decide to skimp on food to make up for the lower costs, or if it's just take out. Sooooo, on this particular occasion our tacos and burrito were thrown together. The carne asada was not chopped -- the pieces of meat were bigger than a slice of gum. EVERY bite of my carne asada burrito had gristles. Every. Single. Bite. Until half way through, that is, at which point I just threw it away. We also asked (several times) for extra sides of green sauce. The woman working assured there were extra in our bag. Of course there wasn't....Oh, and my husband found a hair in his burrito. I'll chalk this up as a bad day, and that the food was thrown together because they were about to close in 20 minutes. Not that that is a valid excuse for poor service though. Would I come back? Maybe during peak hours. Maybe...

I don't understand why people like this place. I've had their tacos before: not that great. The most recent time I went there I asked if they make nachos, they said yes. So I ordered that to go. I got my order and when I got home I realized that they gave me a small container of chips, whole beans, and carne asada. That was it. No cheese, no onions, cilantro, salsa... Nothing else... It was so bland. I will never go back here again, especially because there are other great taco trucks very close by. Two thumbs down.

So far sooooo good. No frills but flavorful thrills. Just ask for a burrito de Al pastor or any of your favorite meat and ask for extra spicy. It's awesome and doesn't break the bank.Edit: the last two times, the food gave me cramps and severe heartburn.
