I love food. Good ole, greasy, fatty junk food to be exact. Lancaster's Frosty King delivers just that. It's a favorite of the neighborhood behind it and is located directly off of S Union. The parking lot is pitifully painful to maneuver and unless you enter the drive-thru from the main road, you're stuck doing a three-point turn to place your order. All that aside, they offer anything and everything you'd expect from a "mom n pop" type burger joint. Endless burgers with various toppings, sandwiches, deep fried side dishes and ice cream treats for dessert. Today I got a pastrami combo and a larrrrge ice water to help me combat this triple-digit heat we have here in good ole Bakes. I usually settle for a chocolate dipped ice cream cone or chili cheese fries and a ginormous Diet Pepsi (to counteract the fat and calories from my snack, obvs). My food was served quickly, was hot and was the correct order. I wouldn't title their pastrami the "best in town," though it was tasty. Junk food eater note: they charge for extra ranch cups that aren't included with a side like fried zucchini. 10/10 will return a few times a week ;) See ya there!

3 milkshakes and an order of onion rings, a typical weekend like snack for anyone. Placed the order via phone hoping in the short 5 minute drive the order would be ready or at least started - too much expectations I guess. After waiting over 15 minutes after arriving, the milkshakes were more milk than shake, and the onion rings are so cold they might as well still be in the bag o' rings defrosting on the back counter.Worst drive thru aka Frosty King (because there are a ton) in Kern County!!

Its your typical hidden burger joint. The Workers are pretty nice and the burgers are made to order. This is my first time eating here and I would go back and eat there again. I got the #2 to go because its mid July and I don't feel like sitting outside and eating. The downfall about this place is the surroundings is prrreeetttyyy ugly and the place looks kinda dirty, but the food you get and for the price I think its worth it. And the soda... Bomb! Crushed ice and all.

Food is the best for the price. Only problem is that it takes forever to get your food literally spent 30 minutes with car on waiting on them to take my money and give me food

This place has gone down, since the Esa family left. We used to come here all the time, since it is only 3 minutes away from my house. But, the food tastes disgusting and there are flies ALL OVER THE PLACE. Inside and outside! The burgers taste salty. The new employees seem that they are not very fond of women becuase they leave the money on the counter, so they don't have to touch my hand. I really don't understand how they have an 'A'.

One of the best places to get pastramis and French fries in town. It is a hole in the wall place that has been in Bakersfield for many years.
